In my role as a master fitter with real spec -golf, I apparently call golf equipment for individual characteristics. As you can imagine, suitable sessions often become much more than that.
It is not uncommon for customers to walk through my door that struggles with poor contact. It is always, my customers are golfers who have taken the game seriously for a long time or are planning to take the game seriously, to invest resources in their equipment and swing instruction.
One thing that the era of Launch Monitors taught us is that club head speed is equal to the ball height and ball spider. But for 90 percent of my fittings we want to create length and spider due to a lack of speed. These 60 -minute sessions are a mission to find peak height and steeper racing corners.
Perhaps my favorite fitting is the iron fit with a customer who hangs back to get the ball in the air. Not because it makes my work easier to illustrate a profit, but because of the incandescent lamp that goes off when they realize that skillfully fitting irons can make the swinging of the golf club more easier.
The most common archetype that I refer, is the customer who plays an iron set that does not help them to get the ball high enough to achieve enough stremp power when the golf club is delivered in a way that the golf ball compresses.
One of the pleasures of my work is to give this customer a well -fitting iron and to see them how they drop their attack angle from beating the ball to 2 degrees down or lower. The starting point then goes from the entire card to the right in the middle every time. The distance that we all hungle will undoubtedly follow from the correct beating of the golf ball.
Whether a customer is in an iron set with a too little attic, not enough offset or playing an axis that is not properly loaded because of his transitional speed, irregular contact is often the result. If you can imagine a golf club that goes up before the impact, trying to hit an object on the floor is a recipe for a disaster.
This is one of the many riddles of our game: you have to beat down for the thing to go up! But to have the confidence to hit down, something or some things in your equipment can better produce some heights and spiders. In addition, an iron set that consistently delivers a higher peak height and spin your Scot Dispersion dramatically, both East/West and North/South because of the ball that lands softer.
Too often I see iron sets that have been in length for too long, too strong in the attic, and too heavy and/or stiff in Asflex. The aforementioned club specifications are aimed at achieving a greater distance. But at what costs for your mechanics?

To repeat, my role is apparently to call golf equipment for individual characteristics. However, I have noticed that there is a duty to inform customers about which suitable Swing dynamics is needed for striking quality. Unless your equipment is designed with your speed in mind, you may not give yourself a chance to achieve that right swing dynamics. I see it every day, incorrect equipment can and will lead to swing errors.
