Successful Christopher Saines, 43, left his family in their £ 3,500 per night boutique hotel in Koh Samui, Thailand, for a massage and suddenly died with the staff he thought he was sleeping
A leading lawyer was found dead in a massage parlor on the same holiday island in Thailand where Cricket Great Shane Warne died.
Christopher Saines, CEO of commercial and real estate Law Firm Legal, did not breathe when the staff tried to wake him up. The 43-year-old Australian, who last enjoyed a beer during his break, had visited the Siam Touch massage parlor on the southern island of Koh Samui. Authorities – finding out if a white powder in his pocket was cocaine – say that first questions suggest that the “deeply loved and dedicated” father died of heart failure at the building.
He was on the lush journey with his wife, Chantho, and their two children, who stayed in a boutique hotel £ 3,500 a night. Lieutenant -Kolonel Inkung said that his death was not treated as suspicious.
“There were no signs of physical struggle. The masseuse also had no injuries. The massage continued normally,” he said. “At the moment we are waiting for the results of the drug test and the autopsy report, which can take several days, depending on the case, but we will try to speed up as quickly as possible.”
It is claimed that after Mr Saines had paid for his massage, he decided to rest on the massage bed. The masseuse continued to serve other customers before he fell asleep. Employee decided to wake up the high -flying lawyer until 6 o’clock when he turned out to be unconscious when the woman tried to wake him up.
When an ambulance arrived, Mr Saines was declared dead by doctors on the spot. “He had just finished getting a massage, dressed and went to the bathroom. Then he asked to rest on the bed and he just fell asleep,” Lord Lord went on.
“The masseuse said he snored so hard that they had to ask the guests in the neighborhood if they wanted to change rooms. He stayed around 3 o’clock when the store closed and the masseuse let him sleep in the room.
“She came up again around 6 am to wake him up, but he didn’t respond. She then called her boyfriend to help him check. Then they discovered that he had died. It was assumed that he died for some time after 4 hours.”
His destroyed family released a statement that mourned for the death of a man they said “lived with goal, passion and drive”. It was said: “It is with unimaginable sadness that we confirm the sudden death of a beloved son, brother, husband, father, friend and colleague, Christopher Saines, who died earlier this week while we died on vacation with his family in Thailand.
“Christopher was a deeply loved member of our family and a remarkable person whose presence brought our light. Only 43 had already had a profound impact on his professional performance and his non -repellent dedication to the people and causes he gave most of it. He lived with goal, passion and drive.”
They added: “He was a dedicated family man and a remarkable father. He will be remembered by us as a warm, loving and caring person.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support we received during this incredibly painful time from our friends, colleagues and the wider audience.”
