Heartbreaking Lauri Markkanen -Trend will only continue if jazz keeps him

The Utah Jazz did not in the least fooled from their point of view that Lauri Markkanen will stay with the team. Although it is understandable that the team does not want to say goodbye to his only proven star on the Roster, if they stick to their word, Markkanen’s Triest Streak will only continue the play -offs.

Markkanen is going into his ninth NBA season and he still has to make the late season. The Jazz star played a total of 450 NBA games, which is good for the 15th most Among players in the NBA history in terms of games played and never made the late season. If the jazz misses the play -offs again, he could get up as high as seventh on that list.

Well before even this season starts, it has been clear for some time that the Jazz will be the worst NBA teams. More than that, it can be a year or two before they start winning when He stays in Utah.

Many may come to the wrong conclusions about this and wonder how effective a ball player the jazz star really is. It is true that despite his efforts, his teams have never achieved anything and did not come close. With more context, however, it has become clear that his failure in this respect is hardly any fault.

Markkanen is a victim of circumstances

Pech has followed Markkanen from the very beginning. Before he flourished to a star like Jazzman, he showed his clear potential when he first entered the NBA, but unfortunately started his career in the wrong situation with the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls have never completely discovered how they can use Markkans, and even worse, they never had a clear direction where they went in the four years that he was there. So although he looked like he had the talent to become something special, he never completely sorted it out because Chicago could not find the best way for him to thrive.

Then his short stay came to Cleveland. Markkanen did not dominate the Cavaliers, but he was a valued player in a team that came within centimeters after making the play -offs. In the game with the highest commitment of his career, Markkanen even did his part, although it was not enough.

And then of course his Ascension came with jazz. But unfortunately, he proved that he was an unlikely All-Star, coincided with a jazz team that gradually got worse with every passing season. There is a good chance that even if Markkans is ready to bounce back from last season, it will not change the place of jazz in the Western Conference.

It is a shame that Markkans have not seen his skills translate into a minute of NBA playoff action, but he must have known what he started when he signed that extension with jazz last year.

Hopefully his capacities will take him to the late season in due course. The persistent question is whether he will be a jazzman if and when he does it.
