Harry Redknapp Newcastle United Verdict now in

Harry Redknapp talked about Newcastle United.

The former Bournemouth -Baas who discusses Eddie Howe and his team, now six weeks in the new season.

Newcastle United plays Arsenal.

A kick -off of 16.30 on Sunday afternoon in St James’ Park

Newcastle United started to face the Gunners on their return to Premier League action after a midweek from Carabao Cup.

Harry Redknapp talks to Betvictor before Newcastle United plays at home at Arsenal:

“This feels like a big game for Newcastle.

“I just think they need a lift, need a good result.

“Some versions have been decent, but they just didn’t take their chances and it mentions it obvious, but they miss Isak.

“It was a good point for Arsenal against Man City, but I thought they should have showed more ambition in the game. That has been a problem for them in a few of these big competitions. What a fantastic finish was from Martinelli!

“Newcastle was something of a bogey team for Arsenal last season. I know that much of it was with Isak, but those fans will be like this, and I can see them get a point.

“One to look at: I like what we have seen of Woltemade. A goal here would really start his career in Newcastle.

“Forecast: Newcastle 1 Arsenal 1”

I agree with quite a bit of Harry Redknapp.

It is clear that the biggest strengths of Newcastle United have been defensive this season. Nick Pope holds four clean sheets in five Premier League matches and only one PL goal gave when United had 11 men on the field.

Newcastle held a clean sheet in the last three games against Arsenal that were played in St James’ Park, so if it were to do again on Sunday, it would go a long way to bank a fourth home victory in a row against the Gunners.

Harry Redknapp says it is overwhelming about missing Alexander Isak, why United has struggled for goals.

I think the reality is that this is more about the problems, Isak that caused in the summer (and how the Newcastle United misconduct the situation when he dealt with him) and the knock on the effect of the inexperienced Woltemade and Wissa who arrived at the end of the transfer window, especially the fact that Yoane Wissa then immediately.

Regarding Nick Woltemade who needs a goal to start his NUFC career … Harry Redknapp has clearly forgotten that the German international needed only 29 minutes to do this during his debut against Wolves.

Eddie Howe carefully manages the minutes of Woltemade, because he gives him the time to integrate and especially, does not take unnecessary risks of injury to the club’s registration.

Alexander Isak has played a major role in the generally excellent results of Newcastle against Arsenal under Eddie Howe, but that also applies to many other united players, plus we have now added quality of six signing sessions in the summer and the start of a good team too.

They are almost always tough and tight games against the Gunners and will probably be another on Sunday. I hope that NUFC is clinical for the goal when the opportunities, if so, will still be a home victory in Arsenal.
