Annabel Croft, who won at the age of 17 Junior Wimbledon, has some reservations about players who continue too quickly.
“When I played juniors, I was exactly like Hannah,” said Croft.
“The year I won the juniors [Australian Open and Wimbledon titles] I played in the seniors at the same time. I played my idol Chris Evert at the court in Wimbledon in the third round and I was not aimed at the juniors.
“I was much more enthusiastic about the prospects to play Senior Wimbledon and go against the best in the world.
“But in retrospect it is one of my proud moments and I realize that I will be in that trophy cabinet forever.
“I think she, whatever happens, [Klugman] Has enough time to set themselves up against the seniors, but the only thing you can say about juniors is that you will never get that time again.
“So I get it all, but I just hope she doesn’t regret it.”
The rules of the WTA rules of age limit 16-year-olds to 12 professional tournaments every year, although anyone who ends the year in the top five of the Junior Rankings can play an extra four.
And so the Professional Tour can expect next year that they will see much more of the couple, who have been playing each other under 10 days since they were.
Stojsavljevic, who mentions Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic as her idols, is a clean and powerful ball striker while Klugman can serve and volley and – in her own words – “” does not play as a usual woman “.
“I have a piece, I like to change the rhythm, ruin the player a bit – and I have a big serve,” she said in Wimbledon this year.
“I used to love Ash Barty and I really love Emma Navarro too.”
