Hajj flight is confronted with Wiel Glitch on Luckknow Airport; smoke, sparks seen

A flight of Saudia Airlines with 250 hajj -peelgrims came under a technical snake on arrival India Today TV.

The plane, Flight SV 3112, had left Jeddah on Saturday at 10.45 pm and landed in Luckknow around 6.30 am on Sunday. The airport officials said that smoke and sparks were observed that came from the left -wing of the plane shortly after the landing.

The pilot immediately stopped the plane and warned air traffic control. The plane was then pushed back and moved to the taxi charging, where all passengers and crew members were safely debated.

The emergency aid team of the airport quickly reached the place and brought the situation under control with foam and water within 20 minutes. The glitch was later reduced to a sudden hydraulic leak that had caused the overheating of the wheel mounting.

Civil servants also said that the problem could have led to a serious incident if it had taken place while taking off. The flight had brought Hajj -Pelgrims from Jeddah and was planned to return empty to Saudi Aarabia.

The incident came days after a London-bound Air India plane crashed on the campus of a Medical College in Meghaninagar, just after taking off the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 13.39 a.m. on 12 June, killing 241 of the 242 people on board and 29.
