GRSE shares go ex-dividend on Tuesday; Last day to purchase for Rs 5.75 interim cashout

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) shares will go ex-dividend on Tuesday, November 11. Investors who want to receive the announced interim dividend of Rs 5.75 per share for the financial year 2025-2026 will have to buy the shares before the end of today’s trading session.According to an earlier regulatory filing filed by GRSE, the company’s board of directors had approved an interim dividend of Rs 5.75 per equity share of face value Rs 10 each for the financial year 2025-2026 in its November 4 meeting.

The payout amounts to a total distribution of Rs 65.87 crore, drawn from the company’s profits for the half-yearly period ending September 30, 2025.

The company has set Tuesday, November 11 as the record date for determining the list of eligible shareholders who will receive the interim dividend. Since the record date is November 11, the stock goes ex-dividend today, in accordance with T+1 settlement rules.

According to the company’s filing, the dividend was declared from the company’s profits for the half-year ended September 30, 2025.


Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers is a Government of India company under the Ministry of Defense. The company produces warships and other naval platforms. Further, the same record date also applies to investors of Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals, which has declared a 50% interim dividend of Rs 5 per share. Besides GRSE and Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals, the list of companies trading ex-dividend tomorrow also includes Chalet Hotels, Siyaram Silk Mills, Steelcast Ltd, Nuvama Wealth Management and Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys.
