Recommended start time for round 1
The third edition of the Grant Thornton Invitational will take place this week. And the only two teams to ever win the event are back to try and capture a second title.
Lydia Ko and Jason Day won the first Grant Thornton in 2023, becoming the first champions of the mixed LPGA-PGA Tour event. At last year’s event, it was Patty Tavatanakit and Jake Knapp who took home the trophy and winner’s prize.
The two Grant Thornton-winning teams will play alongside each other in Friday’s opening round in Florida, teeing off in the final pairing at 10:45 a.m. ET. The format for Round 1 will be a battle.
You can watch Friday’s first round of the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational from 1-4 PM ET on Golf Channel. You can also stream a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s Friday coverage via NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App.
