The Pixel 10a’s hardware mirrors that of the Pixel 9a, as we previously reported when leaked Verizon certification documents emerged. The 6.3-inch(ish) FHD+ AMOLED display runs at 120Hz and is paired with a Tensor G4 processor (yes, G4, not G5), 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of base storage. A 5,100 mAh battery powers the device, larger than that of the Pixel 10 Pro, which has almost the same dimensions.
The camera setup consists of dual rear sensors – a 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization, alongside a 13MP ultra-wide lens – plus a 13MP front-facing camera, GSMArena reports. The phone comes in four colors: Berry, Fog, Lavender and Obsidian.
The Pixel 10a is expected to cost $499 and will hit the market about a month earlier than the Pixel 9a in March 2025. This accelerated launch timeline could mean Google is tightening its product refresh cycle for mid-range devices, or perhaps even trying to gain a foothold before Apple unveils its iPhone 17e.
If you want to know how this phone is likely to perform, check out our in-depth review of the Pixel 9a. We expect the two devices to have a lot of similarities, given their hardware overlap.
