Special forces resorted to pepper spray and water cannons to spread protesters from the square.
The collisions in Tbilisi were injured six demonstrators and 21 police.
“Five opposition figures were arrested in Tbilisi for calling to” overthrow the state power “after demonstrators had broken into by the presidential residence during the presidential home during the presidential home.”

PM Kobakhidze accused the EU ambassador of orchestrating the ‘attempt to overthrow the constitutional order’.
“You know that some people from abroad have expressed direct support for the attempt to overthrow the constitutional order, including the EU representative … Given this fact, Georgia’s EU ambassador is bearing a special responsibility,” Kobakhidze told reporters. “
