George Springer helped the Blue Jays fly back to the World Series for the first time in more than 30 years.
The Blue Jays designated hitter sent a 1-0 pitch from Mariners pitcher Eduard Bazardo into centerfield for a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a two-run deficit in what would ultimately be the game-winning hit in a 4-3 victory for Toronto in ALCS Game 7 at Rogers Center on Monday night.
Spring sent the sinker several rows deep at 90 mph, sending Rogers Center into a frenzy as the Blue Jays took their first lead of the night.
The moment was likely extra special for Springer, who had been hit in the right knee by a Bryan Woo fastball in Game 5 and had been a question mark to play in Game 6.
The Mariners had taken a 1-0 lead in the first inning before Toronto got the run back in the bottom of the first inning.

Seattle scored runs in the third and fifth inning to take a 3-1 lead, but in the seventh, Addison Bargger walked and Isiah Kiner-Falefa singled to put two runners on.
After Andres Gimenez sacrificed a bunt, Springer stepped up to the plate to be the hero
The win returns the Blue Jays to the World Series since winning the title in 1993.
Toronto will face the Dodgers, who are looking to repeat as World Series champions, with Game 1 scheduled for Friday.
