The head of the Hilton Agency hosted its first annual Big Dill Charity Pickleball Tournament on Dill Dinkers on Hilton Head Island. Nearly 50 players and almost 100 spectators gathered to show their support Habitat for the humanity of the Low Country through the Agency’s collaboration with Giveback Houses. Through ticket sales, donations and raffle prizes, The Agency’s Hilton Head team has raised funds that will directly help build safe, affordable homes for families in Beaufort and Jasper counties.
During this energetic evening, players competed against each other on the courts, while friends, family and customers cheered from the sidelines. Guests enjoyed gastronomic concessions from SERG and a refreshing signature event cocktail, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Although the competition was fierce, competitors (and customers) Andrew Snodgrass and Paul O’Neil were ultimately crowned champions of the first Big Dill Tournament. Michelle Taylor and John Taylor took a hard-fought second place.
Champions and participants alike had plenty to celebrate as the event proved to be a resounding success for Habitat for Humanity. Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry has built more than 190 homes, helping families achieve lasting stability and homeownership.
