Gabriele Biancheri open to January loan exit – Man United news and transfer news | The People’s Person

As things stand, Manchester United are joint second in terms of goals scored in the Premier League this season, with 30, level with top table Arsenal.

But that wasn’t the case in the previous campaign, as Rasmus Hojlund endured a nightmare at the top. With goals being too expensive, Ruben Amorim had to look to the academy for a solution.

He sometimes chose the then 17-year-old Chido Obi as leader. The young Dane performed admirably, but could not find the back of the net.

The head coach had also called up another academy hotshot, Gabriele Biancheri, for first-team training, but the young Welshman did not make the matchday squad.

And at the moment, the Portuguese tactician doesn’t seem to rate the club’s academy very highly as no debuts have been handed out so far.

That explains why many starlets are keen to go out on loan to gain experience, and Gabriele Biancheri is no different.

There is plenty of interest in the 19-year-old’s services, and it shows Center devilsthe Wales U21 international appears eager to return home.

United had signed the Cardiff City striker and the youngster and his agent had visited the League One club to speak to the manager about his chances if he agreed to move back to the Cardiff City Stadium.

“CentreDevils understands that Cardiff City are pushing for a loan move for 19-year-old Manchester United striker Gabriele Biancheri.

Ready to return home

“We can reveal that Biancheri, along with his agent, has visited Cardiff City’s training ground in recent weeks and even met the manager.

“His family also live in Cardiff, which is also a huge positive, and he is open to a move to get first-team minutes.

“There are other clubs in the race too, but as it stands now the League One club is leading the race.”

This season, the centre-forward has played exclusively for the U21s, scoring five goals and three assists from nine starts in all competitions.

It is clear that he can use senior minutes to aid his development and help him achieve his dream of breaking into United’s first team in the future.
