Future Dynasty Stars: Devy 85-81 – Dynasty League Football

Whether you love it, hate it, or fall firmly in between, the new era of college football is here and it’s not going away anytime soon. Nothing better illustrates the changing dynamics of the sport than Indiana’s rise to dominance, including the defeat of an Alabama team that previously ruled the college football landscape. Curt Cignetti and the program have pushed all the right buttons in the transfer portal and major donors have taken notice to get behind the Hoosiers.

The introduction of NIL has created something of a free agency environment and squeezed an extra year out of many players who might otherwise have entered the draft and moved on on day three. It has made the product strong on the field and created more equality, although the bluebloods will still have their day in the process.

The constant movement of players can make it difficult to execute a program, but we are not the ones in charge. We’re just looking for the next wave of dynasty talent, and below we’ll look at 100 players who could soon make an impact on dynasty rosters. This matches DLF’s devy ranking settings, which are based on the superflex format.

85. Husan Longstreet, QB LSU

Height: 6’0”

Weight: 200

Eligible concept: 2028

Statistics:

Summary: After a year with the USC Trojans, Husan Longstreet joins Lane Kiffin at LSU. He is another big addition for Joey Freshwater as he has rebuilt the Tigers’ quarterback room.

What Longstreet lacks in size, he more than makes up for in arm talent, whipping the football across the entire field with tremendous speed. His hands are 14 inches, which already eliminates a long national nightmare of discourse if he wants to attend the NFL Combine. Like many young quarterbacks, Longstreet can lack touch and finesse on his passing, often relying on arm strength to pass the football into tight spaces. His size will limit his pocket presence, although he’s not exactly a Lilliputian either. With elite talent and athleticism to boot, he is a great addition to Lane Kiffin and possibly the future at LSU.

Outlook for 2026: Kiffin brought in Sam Leavitt, the heavy favorite to start in 2026, from Arizona State. Longstreet should earn the backup gig as he sees sporadic playing time as he prepares to start in 2027 and beyond. Of course, if Leavitt – who has struggled with injuries in 2025 – misses out, Longstreet could get his star a year early.

84. Braylon Staley, WR Tennessee
