Professional Fighters League (PFL) last night organized the “Jean vs. Storley” event (Fri., 1 August 2025) from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, with the final matchups of the featherweight and welterweight.
In the Co-Main event 145-pound Matchup, Mlvlid Khaybulaev and Jesus Pinedo waged almost five rounds of war in a back and forth. With just under two minutes left in the game, Khaybulaev managed to catch Pinedo with a tight arm triangle that forced the interruption.
With the victory, Khabulaev improves 24-0-1 and secures his second PFL tournament final victory because he earned his first in 2021 by beating Chris Wade through a unanimous decision. For Pinedo he drops to 16-2 and did not succeed in winning in his second final after reaching the mountain top in 2023.
Thad Jean and Logan Storley bump into a very competitive scrap of 170 pounds in the headliner. After 15 minutes of action, Jean had done enough to earn the nod on the jury’s scorecards. With the victory, Jean improves to 11-0, 7-0 PFL. As far as Storley is concerned, he only suffers his second victory under the PFL banner and understands his three-fighter win racing.
