Hidden Target made a pleasant debut in the first hurdle of the National Hunt at Chepstow on Wednesday. After a good introductory run over hurdles by Finn Lambert, he jumped well and stayed on the straight to finish fourth, beaten thirty lengths by the winner. Hopefully he can repay his syndicate’s patience in the coming months and he certainly has the size and range to be a useful fighter in the future.
Elfride and Neeps And Tatties were registered in Huntingdon on Tuesday. Hopefully some rain is on the way to ensure the ground is safe. We put Elfride off again with a headgear, while Tatty made a nice debut in a bumper at Hereford and jumped well at home.
