Free Tips – Friday October 10 (Jumps Racing) – Free Horse Racing Tips

I can’t hide my excitement today as Jumps season begins. Many of you will already know how passionate I am about the jumps and what seven months of racing we have ahead of us.

I think you will see the enthusiasm and knowledge offered in my writing.

Win, lose or draw today, it’s all about the next 7 months and you won’t find a harder working tipster. I am fully committed to making 16 of the 18 show jumping seasons with a profit. Crazy to think that we have been around for almost 20 years.

If you want to join us for the National Hunt Season it costs £79.99 and that covers everything for the next 7 months, all festivals, all weekends, every Ante Post, literally everything you can think of is covered as part of the package.

We are even releasing our horses to follow the e-book later today and that alone resulted in a 15 point gain last season and that was blindly supporting the horses. It even produced a 25/1 winner at the Cheltenham Festival.

What a jumping season we have in store.

Today we’re giving away all our tips for free, but remember: even if we have a full house today, even if we have three losers, this is all about the next seven months. What I can confirm is that this is the kind of work you get day in, day out. I cover all the bases and the work is next level.

HEAD COUNTRY 10/1 Bet 365, 8/1 Unibet, 7/1 overall – 0.5 POINTS E/W

The one they all have to beat is Masked man who is trained by Nigel and Willy Twiston Davies. A 15 length winner from point to point and he did it quite easily. They could have a smart horse, but he’s making his debut under the rules and how many times have we seen expensive horses flop? I will believe it when I see that it is one of my motos going into the season and it is that moto that I will enter it with today. Of course, I can absolutely see it driving around, but there’s no guarantee.

The horse I side with and a horse I think is too expensive Cup of land who is trained by Sam Thomas. I’m going to contradict myself a bit here because in another tip below I said the first time I wore headgear it was negative, but with HEAD LAND I think it will be hugely positive after seeing him run at Wincanton in January. He was 5th of 12th that day behind the talented Bossman Jack and that form could look very strong as the Skeltons think highly of that horse.

Cup of land went down in my notebook as a horse that would get better and while I probably expected to see him again last season, the fact that they put him away for the rest of the season will probably turn out to be a good thing.

This is a horse that is a half-brother to Good Risk At All who Sam Thomas trained and Just Over Land, another horse trained by Sam Thomas. Cup of land The father is Bathyrhon, the father of Katate Dori, trained by Sam Thomas. Let’s just say Sam Thomas knows this family very well.

Additionally, Sam Thomas trained the winner of this race last year with Palacio, who was subsequently rated in the 120s.

We have Dylan Johnston on board claiming 3lb and he is a jockey who is getting better and better and totally worth the 3lb claim.

At 10/1 I think this horse is extremely expensive and he could really be the dark horse in the race.

Sam Thomas loves training a winner around Chepstow and this is the only runner he has on the card tomorrow. E/W.

TORN AND CRAFTED 11/2 overall – 0.5 POINTS E/W

A very competitive Veterans Handicap Chase and you could argue for quite a few of these. I’ve never really warmed up to the favorite, HoflandI notice that he is often good back, but often does not shoot. On a good day he clearly has a decent chance, but he flopped in Worcester last time out and I’m not convinced that’s why he should be so short.

The milois for me it’s the class act in the race for Dan Skelton, but he does carry 11st 10lb and makes his season return. He’s barely well handicapped at 143, possibly in a veteran’s race, but you have to go all the way back to 2022 to find winning form that doesn’t resemble points like this.

Amended is interesting for Gordon Elliott, who comes over from Ireland, and Sean Bowen who rides, but again he hasn’t touched the fences since 2023 and it’s hard to back with any confidence despite the eye-catching entry.

The one for me is the Nigel and Willy Twiston Davies trained horse, TORN AND RADDED. He is near the bottom of the handicap with 10st 9lb on his back and a rating of 128. Nigel Twiston Davies normally starts the season well and his horses are fit and ready early in the season, another reason why TORN AND RADDED has caught my attention.

He will be joined by Sam Twiston Davies who we all know. When it comes to a fight, he is very strong in the finish. He and Sean Bowen are the two jockeys I would want on my horse if it was a battle on the hill at Cheltenham.

Back to TORN AND RADDED and he is a horse that has the ability but can sometimes let himself down in terms of jumping, but when he puts it all together he is a very good horse.

We saw that last season when we won a decent race at Warwick with horses like Eldorado Allen behind us.

I can imagine that he will be ridden along patiently, because he is that kind of horse, a horse that can complete a race with the bridle and, if push comes to shove, will be steered between the last two fences.

With next to nothing on his back, if he is in contention to turn in, he will be involved in the finish, we just have to pray that no accidents happen before that.

At the price of 11/2 it’s worth taking a chance and with 3 seats on offer I think it’s plenty of value. E/W.

QUEENSBURY BOY 6/4 overall – 1.25 POINTS WIN

The Persian War Novice Hurdle is always a great race to start the season and it is a race that has been won by some good horses in the past. They include Thyme Hill, Captain Teague and Secret Investor to name a few. The race is often won by the more stylish type.

A few caught my eye in this race and we’ll start with those Stick to the plan who is trained by Olly Murphy, a trainer who I think will have a great season. Sticking to the plan has a chance, but the first time you wear headgear is a little concerning. It tells me that the yard is concerned about his temperament and while it may well have a positive effect, he will need to improve from what I have seen so far when he ran in Ireland. However, he is in good hands and Sean Bowen, as I said, will get the best out of the horse.

Moneygarrow is trained by Dan Skelton and everything Dan trains is to be feared, but he is making his debut over obstacles here and it is probably worth waiting to see how he handles them.

Jack Hyde will have to improve quite a bit to get involved Cleft which is now trained by Nigel and Willy Twiston Davies looks a bit overpriced.

Not normally my style, but I guess QUEENSBURY BOY will be very difficult to beat. He looks a real horse and did well last season winning two races on the bridle before going to Ireland for a Grade 1 where he came home 5th out of 8. I thought he traveled well into the race, but he didn’t think much of the bridle. It didn’t help that he had David Maxwell on board and although he had two wins with his horse, he is a poor jockey. Credit where it’s due, riding the horses he owns, it was his choice, but I said many times last season that if a professional jockey rode his horses he would have so much success.

David Maxwell retired last month, so we’ll start by saying happy retirement and end it with “thank you.” I have fielded quite a few of your horses this season with a ‘real’ jockey on board and hopefully I will be cheering you on as an owner in the Winners Enclosure.

Back to QUEENSBURY BOY and trainer Harry Derham has been targeting this race since March after winning at Newbury. After the race he said ‘he’s still a novice until the fall, so the Persian war is on our minds’. That was before Punchestown and seven months ago. That’s how long he’s been the target of this race.

This isn’t a stepping stone, this is a race he wants to win and with prize money of £45,000 you can see why.

Paul O’Brien takes the ride and he’s a perfectly capable jockey who’s 10 times better than David Maxwell, so it will work out.

I expected QUEENSBURY BOY to be around 5/4, so at 6/4 I’m quite satisfied.

I think he will definitely cruise around on the bridle before starting the race and heading to the line. For me it is a class above and going into the race, barring any accidents, I am quite confident in it. WIN.
