FPL Pre-season: Cunha + Mbeumo Absence explained, Dorgu Stars

Manchester United, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers were all busy with midweek action for the season on Wednesday.

We have completed a few important Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points of each of these matches below.

Manchester United 4-1 Bournemouth

  • Goals: Hojlund, Dorgu, Diallo, Williams | De Ligt Own goal
  • Helps: Dorgu, Mount, Hojlund, Leon | Brook

The Red Devils have improved as their pre-season is rolled out, built on a 0-0 draw with Leeds and the Nalle Premier League Summer Series last weekend in West Ham with a much more sounding 4-1 win against Bournemouth.

“It’s just a game for the season, but the feeling with the same players looks like another team and that is a good sign.” – Ruben Amorim

Buy a bargain Dorgu?

Patrick Dorga (£ 4.5 million) immediately emerged as an important point of conversation in FPL circles after his Wednesday evening outing. The Danish defender started with the left wing for the second game in a row and ended it with a goal and an assist for his name. There was also a clean slate, technically speaking, given that Dorgu was against the time replacement of the field Matthijs de Ligt (£ 5.0 million) A late cherry cross turned into his own network.

After setting up Rasmus Hojlund‘s (£ 6.5 million) Early leader with a nice delivery, Dorgu became the first half of the first half when he burst forward to lock a free kick from Mason Mount (£ 6.0 million).

Mount to be seen as one of Amorim’s double no. 10s, next to Amad Diallo (6.5m).

“He is 20 years old. He seems more and more as if he belongs in Manchester United, and that is hard to do [at] 20 years old, but he is so powerful, he gets his technique in his game, he defends so well, he presses so well. I am really impressed by Patrick. “ – Rubem Amorim on Patrick Dorgu

The second few goals from United was somewhat scrappier. Amad ended well after he had beaten a loose ball in the box for teenage player Ethan Williams scored his first for the club, after he picked up possession after an arrow from the Young Left-Back-Nieuwkomer Diego Leon (£ 4.5 million).

Leon, 18, will probably be a backup option for the time being, while Diogo Dalot (£ 4.5 million) is more comfortable on the right flank. Luke Shaw (£ 4.5 million)-which was “really strong”, according to quotes after the match of his manager-has so far only seen as a left-sided center-back. Lisandro Martinez (£ 5.0 million) continues to recover from injury.

All this means that for the time being Dorgu at least seems to be the leader at the left wing. It is a position that saw him take many advanced positions and could see him stand up as an early bargain this season.

Elsewhere in Amorim’s Backline, Budget-friendly Center-Back Ayden Heaven (£ 4.0 million) was limited to replacement duty. Tom Heaton (£ 4.0 million) was now the only man who played the entire game for United. The 39-year-old has divided the pre-season goalkeeper tasks with Altay Bayindir (£ 4.5 million) because of Andre Onan‘s (£ 5.0 million) injury.

Bruno deeper despite no Cunha or Mbeumo

Bryan Mbeumo (£ 8.0 million) still has to make his United debut, but may not have to wait much longer. Amorim had this to say for the Wednesday game:

“Bryan starts slowly. He is not going to play in the next. We hope to have Bryan in the last game [against Everton, on Sunday 3 August]. He trains now, so we’ll see. “ – Ruben Amorim

Fellow Summer Arrival Matheus Cunha (£ 8.0 million) there was also no lack of season in this last win, despite starting the last two games. The absence of the Brazilian was due to “fatigue”.

Although those two-samorim’s supposed first-choice couples behind his chosen central striker, then be that Hojlund or a potential newcomer such as Benjamin Sesko-not were present, Bruno Fernandes (£ 9.0 million) fell back in central midfield Casemiro (£ 5.5 million) After his successful outing as a NO10 last weekend. It is becoming increasingly likely that this deeper role will see the club captain more than not this season, which could stimulate its defensive contribution (DC) points, but could hinder its attacking output of open play, even if the Portuguese dominance maintains on set pieces. Something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

Speaking of United’s striker, Amorim said that he was “really happy” with the performances of Hojlund and that the team “plays better because he plays better”. However, he admitted that he does not know “what will happen until the end of the market” in the midst of reports of promoting discussions about Sesko with RB Leipzig.

Petrovic starts again, ‘New Kerkez’ benched, still no safes

Former Chelsea -Man Djordje Petrovic (£ 4.5 million) started again in goal for the cherries. This was clearly not as solid an outing as his first for his new club, but it still appears to show that he should be the new First-Choice keeper of Andoni Iraola.

Philip Billing (£ 5.0 million) missed the opportunity to score for the third consecutive game since he returned from his Napoli loan, which had been noted against Everton and Hibs until now. His playing time in the central midfield can be stimulated this season because of the MCL injury suffered through Lewis Cook (£ 5.0 million), however.

Instead, it was priced replacement in the same way David Brooks (£ 5.0 million) who forced a late consolation goal for Bournemouth, when De Ligt hit his crowd. The Welshman had previously seen a separate shot bent on the bar, also through De Ligt.

That in turn came after Schot Monster Antoine Semenyo (£ 7.0 million) A first half goal had to exclude offside. He, next to the middle Mark Senesi (£ 4.5 million), were the only two of the troops of Iraola that last the full 90 minutes.

Adrien Truffert (£ 4.5 million) – The Cherries’ Milos is coming (£ 6.0 million) Replacement that recently scored a brace for his new Club-Was only a second half replacement in Chicago. It is generally still expected Julio Soler (£ 4.0 million) in the long -term pecking order of Iraola.

Evanilson (£ 7.0 million) Led the line again and could offer a fixed FPL value at its price, but the constant absence of Justin Kluivert (£ 7.0 million) – who seem to be a state with the team, given club photos And This interview with CBS Sport Golazobut also missed against Everton – meant it was instead Marcus Tavernier (£ 5.5 million) and Ouattara Kango (£ 6.0 million) In addition to Semenyo as the attacking midfield trio.

Manchester United XI (3-4-2-1): Heat; Yoro 71), Magure (not 46), Shaw 71; Ferndes (Alarte 71), Dorgu (Fredricson 71); Adad (Williams 71), Mountains (Heven 71); Hojlud (Obi-Martin 71)

Bournemouth XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic (Dennis 62); Araujo (Truff 62), Zabarnyi (Mabham 76), Senesia, Smith 62); Invoicing (three 62); Semeyo, Tavernier (Party 76), Ouattara (Kings 62); Evanilson (Adams 76)

Nottingham Forest 0-0 Estoril Praia

FPL Gamweek 36 Differentiation: Damsgard, Enciso + Williams

No goals to report to the last outing of Forest. This was the third 0-0 of the difficult trees in four pre-season competitions!

The other stalemate came against Chesterfield and Monaco, while this against the Lisbon outfit Estoril was the eighth ended in the Portuguese top flight in the previous term and followed the defeat of last weekend by Fulham.

Nuno Espirito Santo played a relatively strong start XI, such as Chris Wood (£ 7.5 million)-now in the only target scale of Forest in the preseason and Neco Williams (£ 5.0 million) could not build on Saturday’s attacking returns for their half -time recordings. Morgan Gibbs-White (£ 7.5 million) could offer just as little.

There were wholesale changes during the interval, as the norm for Nuno has become in recent weeks, which led to what more seemed to be a back five with Nikola Milenkovic (£ 5.5 million) and new arrival Jair Cunha (£ 4.5 million). Callum Hudson-Odoi (£ 6.0 million) and teenager Jimmy Sinclair Then probably had the best chances of breaking the impasse, but in the end did not succeed.

The lack of goals for the season is a potential care for Nuno, despite the fact that his team keeps three clean sheets-included this newest without unused substitutes Murillo (£ 5.5 million) or Lifemealors (£ 5.0 million) – in four attempts.

Wednesday’s campaign concluded the Warmweertrainingskamp van Forest in the Algarve, with Saturday’s competition at the next Birmingham City Championship.

Nottingham Forest First half XI (4-3-1-2): Sels; Abbot, Morato, Boly, Williams; Yates, Sangare, Anderson; Gibbs-White; I.jessus, wood

Nottingham Forest Second half XI: Bott; Cunha, Milenkovic, Carmo, Hudson-Odoi, Jota Silva, Whitehall, Berry, Sinclair, Awoniyi, Powell

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-3 Lens

  • Goals: GUEDES
  • Helps: Hwang

In contrast to forest, Wolves came to the least on the score sheet on Wednesday.

But just like Bournemouth against United, that of them was a purely comfort goal eventually because the side of Vitor Pereira was defeated for the second time in the preseason.

Last season’s fifth ranking was the Portuguese club Santa Clara the first side to get the old gold a little less than two weeks ago, after which Wolves pulled against Burnley and Stoke for the last loss for Ligue 1 Side Lens.

The two teams were the same as the first pair of Pereira’s nine changes, but the French club then went 2-0 for replacement Goncalo Guedes (£ 5.5 million) made an individual effort on a long distance, which quickly caused a decisive third of the Lens competition.

£ 4.0 million how far again at Vleugelback

With new arrival Jhon Arias (£ 5.5 million) still to be comprehensive and little positive news to report from an attacking sentence, perhaps the most remarkable FPL conversation point from this match was Ki-Jana At all (£ 4.0 million).

The 23-year-old Dutchman started the trips for the Wolves season at the right wing, and can be one to keep an eye on when he goes there as the new season approaches. The deceased Nelson Semedo still has to be replaced by a new signing.

How far this time made a place during the break for Rodrigo Gomes (£ 4.5 million), who has been the challenger so far Hugo Bueno (£ 4.5 million) at the left wing.

Regardless of the formation or staff, however, Pereira will hope that his side can find their first pre -season win when they compete against Girona on Sunday.

Wolves XI (3-4-2-1): SA (Bentley 46); Doherty, Aggbadou (St. 60), toti; Hover (R.Gomes 46), Andre (Kalajdzic 82), J.Gomes (Mound 60), H.SO (Lim 60); Bellegard (Chirewa 60), Lopez (Geet 60); Larsen Stand (Hwang 60)
