FPL notes: Kroupi again, while Hartman assists Flemming twice

FPL notes: Kroupi again, while Hartman assists Flemming twice

In addition to some late drama at Molineux, Sunday brought another goal for the 19-year-old forward That is, Junior Kroupi (£4.6 million).

Here are our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Scout notes from Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers v Burnley.

KROUPI CAN BREAK THE GAME

After nine full rounds in the Premier League, Bournemouth is in second place.

A big part of that is down to cheap FPL teenager Kroupi, who scored an injury-time equalizer at Leeds United, grabbed a brace at Crystal Palace to make it 2-0 here.

Kroupi picked up a loose ball in the center circle, ran onto the pitch and fired a shot from 25 yards: a brilliant goal.

He makes it increasingly difficult for Andoni Iraola to throw Evanilson (£7.0m) back in once he recovers from a calf injury. If the Spaniard continues to believe in it, buying and starting Kroupi could see FPL managers spend so much money elsewhere.

For those without a Bench Boost yet, the Cherries’ particularly attractive Gameweek 12-14 series offers plenty of potential.

On the other hand, the former Lorient striker’s three Sunday attempts yielded just 0.15 expected goals (xG), so be careful.

SILENT SEMENYO

While Antoine Semenyo (£8.1m) remains by far the FPL’s highest scoring midfielder, this being his third clean sheet in nine games. Forest limited him to one touch in the penalty area: a shot on target of just 0.03 xG.

While fellow attacking midfielder Marcus Tavernier (£5.5 million) collected four shots. Two were on target, scoring a spectacular Olimpico corner that curled and dived further Matz Sels (£4.8 million). The goalkeeper will be very disappointed in himself, although he can argue that the corner should not even have been awarded.

Owned by 27.1% of all Fantasy managers, defender Mark Senesi (£5.0m) fell well short of his usual rewards for defensive contributions (DefCon). Just five actions feels a little strange to him.

The Argentina international was also shown a yellow card, but the clean sheet took him to a respectable five points.

DYCHE NEEDS HELP

Bournemouth kept Forest out despite the full-back’s best efforts Neco Williams (£4.8 million). He fired three attempts, meaning no defender has put more on target in the last five gameweeks (four).

The problem is that his team cannot keep a clean sheet, which is the opposite of last season. New boss Sean Dyche took charge against Porto on Thursday evening in time for their first shut-out of 2025/26, suggesting a rejuvenation was on the way.

But it didn’t happen here, even though four changes were made to the Gameweek 8 starting lineup under Ange Postecoglou. A three-way substitution during halftime didn’t help either.

Dyche must find an answer quickly, because Forest are leaking at the back and have only scored once in seven league matches. It’s not a good time to own their FPL assets.

BLANK FOR DUBRAVKA

The same can be said for Wolves players. After fighting back to make it 2-2 at half-time, they conceded a dramatic injury-time winner as a substitute. Lyle Foster (£5.0 million), giving Burnley back-to-back wins.

The Clarets initially went up by two thanks to Quilindscher Hartman (£4.0 million). Zian Fleming‘s (£5.3m) side-footed volley into the bottom corner, followed by a strike from close range. The Dutch left back now has four assists in four games.

However, those who depend on Martin Dubravka (£4.0 million) and Maxime Esteve (£4.0m), whether Bench Boost or otherwise, quickly lost zero via Jorgen Strand Larsen (£6.4 million). By taking a penalty, the Norwegian is now out of the running for this season.

Ladislav Krejci‘s (£4.5m) back-post kick was headed in by Marshall Munet (£5.4 million). But with that momentum, nothing else could be done and the game slipped away from Vitor Pereira’s side.

Surprisingly, winger Jaidon Anthony (£5.7m) was not involved in any of Burnley’s three goals. Thanks to an excellent save from Dubravka at the end, all three promoted sides won in the same Gameweek.

But Wolves are stuck on two points, already six away from safety.
