HISTORY
Until recently, Kolo Muani was one of Europe’s most sought after young strikers. Born in Paris, he came through the ranks in Nantes, for whom he scored 21 Ligue 1 goals in the two seasons before he joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022.

His only year in Germany was so impressive – 26 goals and 17 assists in all competitions rattle – that PSG returned him to his hometown with an offer of £ 78 million.

At the international level, Kolo Muani has 31 caps for The bluesNine nine occasions. Yet his most memorable moment was not great. In the World Cup Final 2022 he had the opportunity to score completely at the end of extra time and write his name in Folklore. Until his eternal regret, the shot was saved by Emiliano Martinez (£ 5.0 million) and France then lost on penalties.
Playing style
The failure of Juventus to renew the loan from Kolo Muani was an absolute outcome for Spurs. After losing goals if Rear seat (£ 7.5 million) and Morgan Gibbs-White (£ 7.5 million), they were about to fall short again. When used as the most important striker at both Juventus and Frankfurt, he had an average of 0.5 goals per match. Moreover, his only Bundesliga season showed some creativity and added 14 assists to his repertoire.
Where Kolo Muani fits with Spurs
If Spurs wants a fast, powerful attacker with an eye for goal and the possibility to link play, they have landed on the right player.
Frank likes to use a 4-3-3 formation and has been deployed so far Richarlison (£ 6.7 million) at the top, supported by Brennan Johnson (£ 7.1 million) and Mohammed Kudus (£ 6.6 million).
We will probably see Simons playing in their number 10 role and Kolo Muani will compete for minutes as their most important center-forward, but of course the North London side with Premier League football with Champions League facilities has to juggle.
Will Kolo Muani be worth buying in FPL?
These arrivals can produce bad news for owners of Richarlison and Johnson, but Kolo Muani is definitely one for FPL watchlogging lists, given the incredibly hospitable next six games of Spurs.
Confirmation of his role in their system and how often Frank pushes his attacking wealth, still has to be clarified, but there is no doubt that the head coach with Kolo Muani has a potentially explosive weapon at his disposal.
At the moment, however, it is a classic ‘wait -and -see’ in FPL.
