If you’re in a hurry and need some last-minute Fantasy Premier League (FPL) advice, here’s a quick summary of what you need to know about Gameweek 17.
WHEN IS THE FPL GAMEWEEK 17 DEADLINE?
All transfers and team selections must be made no later than this 11:00 GMT on Saturday 20 December.
TIME FOR AFCON
Although every FPL manager’s five transfer upgrades took place before Gameweek 16, as of now 33 top players are away at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON): names like Mohammed Salah (£14.0 million), Bryan Mbeumo (£8.2 million), Indian education (£6.3 million) and Ismail Sarr (£6.4 million).
However, individuals eliminated in the group stage could be back by Gameweek 20.

LATEST ABOUT THIAGO + DEWSBURY-HALL
Just as they started joining the FPL community template team, both of them Igor Thiago (£7.2 million) and Kiernan Dewsbury Hall (£5.1 million) was injured.

Also in great shape Hugo Ekitike (£8.7 million), with back-to-back braces. The Liverpool striker is a highly recommended signing, and Laterier could prioritize purchasing him over a leading midfielder Bruno Fernandes (£9.3 million).
Participating in Ekitike is a unanimous choice of the Scout Squad Antoine Semenyo (£7.6m), tipped to score past Burnley.
