FPL Gameweek 13 Differences: 3 Low Owner Picks to Consider

The assets of Brentford, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest are on our differential radar in Gameweek 13 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

All three players below have an ownership percentage of 5% or less.

DANGO OUATTARA

  • FPL Ownership: 0.9%
  • Price: £6.0 million
  • GW13-16 fixtures (then leaves for AFCON): BUR | ars | to | LEE

Brentford will receive significant support for Gameweek 13, which has both to do with their own home form (four wins from six, 12 goals scored) and Burnley’s miserable away record (five defeats from six, a league record 18 goals conceded).

Frontman with nine goals Igor Thiago (£6.5 million) chooses itself. The back line also receives plenty of attention Kevin Damage (£7.0m) another popular selection.

But what about? Dango Ouattara (£6.0m)?

For a million less expenses he can boast of a small compensation better expected goals (xG) per 90 minutes than Damage:

He also blows his teammate out of the water for big chances per 90 minutes (0.87 vs 0.36):

Despite playing just 724 minutes of Premier League action, Ouattara has actually done just that have had more Opta-defined ‘big chances’ (seven) than all but four FPL midfielders:

Tied with Schade in FPL returns (five each), Ouattara has provided a goal and three assists in the last four gameweeks.

Ouattara’s ability to win penalties is also something to note. He has won three penalties in the Premier League this season; no other player has done this more than once! Also striking is the fact that Burnley conceded three penalties in the 2025/2026 seasonthe combined majority of all clubs in the division…

As for those lower minutes, that’s a throwback to when Keith Andrews switched to a 3-5-2 in the ‘heavier’ games. Dango was often the fall man when that happened, but Andrews certainly won’t be doing that in Gameweek 13.

It’s possible there could be a formation change for Arsenal in Gameweek 14 (no worries for those who get Ouattara on a Gameweek 13 Free Hit!) but would you still want to start him? The 23-year-old’s cheaper price tag also makes him easier to bench than Schade.

The ex-Bournemouth winger is of course on his way to the Africa Cup of Nations in mid-December. But as a one-week punter, or to play in three of the next four Gameweeks, there are worse choices.

MATHEUS NUNEN

  • FPL Ownership: 1.3%
  • Price: £5.3 million
  • GW13-17 fixtures: LEE | full | SUN | cry | WHU

Nico O’Reilly (£5.1m) is all the rage at the moment. And not without reason, given the recent return of the Manchester City left back. But what about the man on the other flank?

Matheus Nunes (£5.3 million). less of a shotaholic than O’Reilly, but the pair still managed the same number of ‘big chances’ (one).

And while O’Reilly’s overalls numbers for opportunity creation are superior, both men have two FPL assists to their name.

They each earned Defensive Contribution Points (DefCon) against Liverpool the previous Gameweek and have both achieved two double-digit FPL points this season.

So all in all, there may not be as much difference between the two City full-backs as it might seem at first glance. O’Reilly is currently only six FPL points ahead.

Nunes’ selection here is more team-driven. His next two opponents, Leeds and Fulham, have one each a disproportionate number of crosses along their left flank (Nunes’ side) in recent weeks:

Focusing just on Leeds, for those who hit freely, this graph of where the Whites’ opponents have assisted in 2025/26 (in green) really shows Nunes’ flank as the source of joy:

There is obviously a risk for both full-backs. Rico Lewis (£4.8m) and Abdukodir Khusanov (£5.4m) could come in for a match on the right, with Rayan Ait-Nouri (£5.7 million) or Like Guardiol (£5.8m) as a replacement on the left. That, as you well know, is the risk we take when we gamble on a City player bar Erling Haaland (£14.9 million).

NIKOLA MILENKOVIC

  • FPL Ownership: 3.7%
  • Price: £5.2 million
  • GW13-17 fixtures: BE | wool | Eva | UNTIL | full

On Thursday, Malmö won 3-0 in the Europa League Nikola Milenkovic (£5.2m) returns to goalscoring form.

It was Milenkovic’s first goal of the current season, but he had previously come close to breaking his shot when his header forced a save in the first half. The Serbian was also involved in Forest’s opener, with his deflected cross falling perfectly for Yates.

We know from last season that the 28-year-old is a goalscorer. He scored five times, while finishing joint top for headed attempts (21) among defenders. He has already scored seven times this season.

Interestingly, Forest have had more tries from set pieces (20) than anyone other than Arsenal in their four Gameweeks with Dyche at the helm:

Milenkovic has also claimed DefCon points in back-to-back matches in encouraging fashion.

Forest won this weekend’s corresponding match 7-0 last season and while that may not happen again on Sunday at the City Ground, it starts quite a run of games for the Tricky Trees.

Impressively, Forest have done just that was awarded fewer ‘big chances’ defined by Opta (two) than any other Premier League club since Dyche’s arrival. They also kept four clean sheets and conceded just five goals in seven games in all competitions.
