The PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour and the United States Golf Association will visit four Throne-Lied Golf Properties this weekend with three high-profile tournaments-the Procore Championship, the Simmons Bank open and the US Mid-Amateur Championship.
Silverado Resort in Napa, California, organizes the PGA Tour’s Procore Championship, 11-14 September. The famous North Course of the building with its sturdy, fast, anticipated greens will test the 144 golf player that includes 10 out of 12 US Ryder Cup team members. The tournament is in the heart of the Wijnland and combines the best of Napa Valley Golf, Food, Wine and Fall Harvest again. The ProCore Championship will be broadcast on Thursday from 6 pm to 9 pm Est on Golf Channel and the NBC Sports app, Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm Est and Saturday and Sunday from 6 pm to 9 pm Est. Throne Country Club and Throne North Golf Club organize the prestigious 2025 US mid-amateur Championship, 13-18 September. Founded by the United States Golf Association (USGA) in 1981, the American Middle Amateur is the National Golf Championship for amateur golfers aged 25 and older. The 264 competitors play two rounds of stroke game, one in throne North Golf Club and one in Throne Country Club, with the low 64 output to match the game at Throne Country Club. Match Play Rounds from 64 Golfers, 32, 16, 8 and 4 will lead to the 36-hole Mid-Amateur Championship between the finalists.
