Four Minnesota Twins reach FanGraph’s Top 100 fantasy baseball starting pitchers in 2026

The Minnesota Twins’ starting rotation will be better than you might think. There is still hope that the franchise will add another branch, but even if it doesn’t, there is some solid talent in this part of the roster.

And if you’re a fantasy baseball fan, besides your support for the Twins, tFanGraph’s projections should make you pretty happy. The site has four Minnesota pitchers on the Top 100 list for the 2026 season. That’s better than we expected.

No. 18: Joe Ryan

This was an easy one. Ryan was one of the best pitchers in the American League in 2025 en route to his first All-Star Game. If he can turn in another healthy campaign, expect Ryan’s production to rise to the top of the leaderboard. Obviously, if his fantasy output is strong, his actual value on the field will follow suit – and hopefully turn into Twins wins.

No. 38: Pablo Lopez

We saw some really solid performances from Lopez in 2025, but injuries derailed what could have been an All-Star campaign. The 2025 season is in the rearview mirror and much of Minnesota’s success will depend on how strong Lopez will be.

No. 91: Zebby Matthews

Matthews had an up-and-down season in 2025 due to consistency issues, but he’s always a strong pickup on waivers in fantasy. Matthews has a strong chase and whiff rate thanks to a big fastball. If he can find a way to limit the home runs on his fastball, fans can certainly enjoy an improved 2026 for Matthews.

No. 96: Bailey Ober

Several stats suggest Ober will be much better than the 96th best starter. He has a disgusting changeup, but it’s just a matter of finding a smooth sequence to use as his swipe tone. Regardless, Ober is considered a Top 100 arm as the Twins’ third or fourth man in the order and could spell more success in 2026.

Taj Bradley was also named at No. 145 by FanGraphs and Simeon Woods Richardson was ranked at No. 155.
