Another former Bellator star has made his way to the UFC.
Welterweight Yaroslav Amosov (28-1) has been teasing his arrival to the promotion for a while now and his first assignment appears to be set. Amosov will face Neil Magny (31-13) in the final UFC event of 2025 on December 13, 2025.
The card takes place at the UFC Apex. News of the booking was first reported by Best combat choices; both fighters had publicly stated that fight news was pending.
Amosov went a perfect 27-0 to start his MMA career, claiming the Bellator welterweight championship in the process. He put his career on hold when Russia invaded his native Ukraine and returned home to join the defense of his country. In one memorable moment, Amosov even succeeded get his championship belt back after his mother hid it before Russia bombed Irpin, his hometown.
Amosov returned to fighting in 2023 after a year-and-a-half absence with a win over Logan Storley, but would then suffer his first and only professional loss to Jason Jackson, losing his title.
He recently bounced back with a win over UFC vet Curtis Millender at CFFC 140.
Neil Magny is the UFC’s leader in welterweight fights and wins. He was previously in the top 15, but is currently on the outside. That said, Magny has won his last two fights, picking up victories over Elizu Zaleski dos Santos and Jake Matthews.
