An almost 40-fighter veteran who has left his stamp in Bellator and Rizin is looking for a UFC run before he plays his career.
Juan Archuleta has mixed it with Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, Patchy Mix, Sergio Pettis and Kai Asakura. While Archuleta has been in the trenches as a Pro MMA hunter since 2013, “The Spanjard” never participated in the UFC banner.
Archuleta does not want his career in the field of feet to end without entering the Achthoek. During an interview with Mmafighting.comArchuleta said he hopes he can offer something that the UFC buyer is looking for.

“Ideal scenario for walking away with the end of the Story Book,” Archuleta told MMA who was fighting about his desire to sign with UFC. “That is definitely the ideal situation. Finishing the last three or four years of opportunities I have now and just drive into the sunset.
“Of course I have to bring something of value for the UFC to sign me and at the moment it is as if they want to see people who want to fight and people who want to put an end to fighting.”
Archuleta is fresh from a second round entry victory over Jose Johnson on XFC 53. It was a successful title defense for Archuleta, the Borroka Featherweight Champion.
While the 38-year-old wants his next fight under the UFC banner, Archuleta has an idea of which direction he would go if it is not the intention.
“If this does not happen, sign up at Rizin on New Year to make another run on the featherweight title.”
Archuleta has collected a Pro MMA record of 31-7. He has 12 knockout victories and two entry profits. After he found himself in a three-field slip, “The Spaniard” has returned with two straight victories. Whether he finally gets the call to participate in the UFC schedule can still be seen.
