When Ford unveiled the design for the 21st -century incarnation of his iconic Bronco for the first time, fans praised his tasty retro design that had more reserved nods to the original. But during Monterey Car Week, Ford revealed this new Bronco Roadster concept to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Bronco, and although it does not largely deviate from the regular two-door Bronco, the Roadster concept is a million times cooler and authentic for the original. Unfortunately for Ford it is also a lot cooler than the recently announced Bronco 60 -year anniversary package.
The original Bronco was sold in three body styles: two-door pick-up truck and two-door wagon versions with removable roofs, and then a road finish with no doors, no roof and no rear seats. It was intended as a Mustang for off-road use, or at least that was the task of the technical team. The grim function set was intended to offer ‘pleasure through simplicity’, which is not in the mood that the modern Bronco describes accurately with its modern complexities, but the Bronco Roadster concept offers a modern vision of that sentence tasteful. Unfortunately it is not planned for production, but was made as “a tribute to Bronco’s roots.”
Ford cannot sell this from the factory, but that does not mean that adjusters cannot simulate it
In the transformation of two-door Bronco to the Bronco Roadster concept, the design team of Ford was inspired by a Wimbledon White 1966 Bronco Roadster who is owned by an enthusiastic in the development of the Bronco 2021. Ford pulled back the rear chair and assembled the bronco and edited the brono tire there, and edited the Bronco tire there, and the assembly was the assembly and the brono tire, and edited the Bronco tire, and edited the Bronco tire thereby shine, Metal, like the original. The team also sculpted the belt line to simulate the original, whereby the roll cage and all mounting points were removed from the roof, as well as the doors and all mounting points for the doors. They then painted most of the dashboard and the floor white and installed a number of great silver leather low-back seats.
Ford stamped the tailgate with the same retro “Ford” script as the original and has adjusted the bumpers to look more like the simple chrome bumpers of the original Bronco. To imitate the original Bronco’s artistic rear-wheel arch design, Ford painted the lower sides of the modern Bronco in which seems to be a delicious retro root bear brown that also adorns the tailgate emblem. To complete the package, the new Bronco is equipped with processed Fifteen52 -Aaloge wheels. It even has a manual transmission, just like the original.
No doors, no roof, no rol bars and no main restrictions means that this truck would never pass the safety regulations, but there is nothing that Bronco owners prevent them from adjusting their trucks to resemble this build. I was clearly beaten by the Bronco Roadster concept, but what do you think? Sound in the comments – would you buy one?
