The kites Nikita Grebenkin had a goal and two points in the win.
And Vladar made 23 saves in the win
“I’m just happy to be home,” the Flyers’ Owen Tippett said. “It’s obviously a long road trip. You want to have some kind of recovery and use your fans as much as possible. They were great tonight. During the warm-up you can clearly see that there were a lot of people here. We were ready to go into the room.”
Tippett had a goal in the win.
Max Sasson And Drew O’Connor were the forwards for the Canucks.
“They had more juice than us, their legs were going,” Canucks coach Adam Foote said. “They iced us. They got to the net and that was the difference.”

After a scoreless first period, Grebenkin put Philadelphia ahead 1-0 in the second half of the second period.
Carl Grundstrommade it 2-0 early in the third period.
“The goal, that’s what I saw at training camp,” Flyers coach Rick Tocchet said. “Go to the net. He was around the net and then he made one.” [heck] of a play to hold it (on the Grundstrom goal). … I think achieving that goal really helps him.” Those are the places he needs to go. He goes and watches players in the League who score in those areas and are dirty, and they’re inside and he’s a pest outside. That’s when he’s at his best.”
Christian Dvořák About two minutes later the lead increased to 3-0.
The Canucks cut the deficit to 3-1 after Sasson’s strike just past the middle of the third.
Tippett made a breakaway for a 4-1 lead.
“That’s a highlight goal,” Tocchet said. “When he gets engaged, you know he’s playing. He has to get engaged from the start because he can do those things.”
Matvei Michkov hit an empty net to give the Flyers a 5-1 lead with 71 seconds left.
O’Connor scored a just-about goal with 18 seconds left for the final score of 5-2.
“We wanted to finish strong,” O’Connor said. “This match was important. But looking at [the trip] Overall, I think it’s about as good as you can ask for, so it’s a good journey for us.”
Thatcher Demko made 34 saves in the loss.
