Grove city, oh -Fly High Cruiser scored his third Buckeye Stallion series victory of the season on Thursday (September 18), while the Delaware County Fair organized eight $ 20,000 divisions of the fifth stage of the BSS for second-year student Pacers in the 20-Race JUG day map. The map contained five divisions from Colt Pacers and three divisions from Merrieveeulen.
Fly High Cruiser (Dan Noble) registered a Wire-to-Wire victory in the fourth division of Colt Pacers and won with four lengths in 1: 53.1. Rodeo Jet (Chris Page) was second with House of Brix (Trevor Smith) in third place. Fly High Cruiser registered fractions from: 27.4 ,: 57.1 and 1: 25.3 on the way to his fifth career victory, which increases his income to $ 72,100. The Yankee Cruiser Ruin also registered BSS wins in the second and third legs in 1:54 and 1: 52.3 respectively. He is trained by Anette Lorentzon, who is the horse co-owner of Tony Hall.

Lorentzon Stablemate Cruising Zone (page) won the first division in Wire-to-Wire Mode and exceeded the line in 1:53. The Yankee Cruiser Ruin recorded fractions from: 27.1 ,: 56.2 and 1: 24.4 and won with almost three lengths. The Onyx Dragon (Justin Irvine) was followed second by Johnny Up (Tyler Smith) in third place.
“I live here in Delaware, and it’s nice to win for all your friends,” said Page in an interview after the race with the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association. “I can’t take every honor. Of course I drive some very good horses, and I get them in a number of decent places, and the trainers bring me home.”
Cruising Zone is owned by Lorentzon and has hit the board in eight of the 12 career start with three wins and $ 40,960 in income.
Page also drove Manes to victory and took the third division in 1:52, which was the fastest miles between the five divisions of Colt Pacers. The trainee of Ron Burke was in second place when the field crossed the quarter pole in: 27.3 but led the rest of the road with fractions of: 56.1 and 1: 23.4 on the way to winning almost two lengths. Butchershop Buck (Noble) was followed second by Seaside Star (Luke Hanners) in third place. Moons Up is a foam that is owned by Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi. The Fear the dragon Merrieveeulen led wire to thread and finished a length before Maddie’s Delite (Yannick Gingras) with Survivin Fire (Noble) in third place. She placed fractions from: 27.3 ,: 56.1 and 1: 23.4. Her earlier BSS victory this season came in the fourth stage in 1: 53.3. She has six career victories with $ 194,950 in income and is owned by Ashley Dunn and trainer Edward Miller.
Queen of Fear Replay
Judge me again (tr. Smith) won the third division in 1: 55.2. Her earlier BSS victory was in the second stage in 1: 51.3. Trunk Bay Hanover (Austin Hanners) led the field along the first three calls in: 27.3 ,: 56 and 1: 25.1. After he made the pocket trip, I moved to the outside of the leader again and surpassed Trunk Bay Hanover to the line and won with three -quarters of a length. Moonlit-Romantiek (page) was three-quarters of a length back in the second with legendary L (Hank Levan) in third place. Racin placed fractions of: 27.2 ,: 56 and 1: 25.1 as a star. The Racing Hill Filly has won nine out of 18 seasonal starts and achieved 11 career lines with $ 79,237 in income. She is trained by David Miller for owners Jeff racing, Adam Friedland, SCP Stable and Hunter Holton.
The five legs of the Buckeye Stallion series for all eight divisions are complete. The BSS final are planned for Saturday, October 4 in MGM Northfield Park.
In other action
Fear the dragon Veldings Whatchagonado and Fearless Delight took two of the four divisions of the Ohio Fair Racing Conference for the 3-year-old Colt Pacers.
Whatchagonnado (Cameron MCCown) registered the fastest miles among the four divisions, which led wire to wire and won the second division with nearly five lengths in 1:53 with nearly five lengths. The Ron Potter -Stagee placed fractions from: 28 ,: 56.3 and 1:25 on the way to his fourth career victory, which increases its income to $ 68,881.
Fearless Delight (L. Hanners) took the fourth division in 1: 55.2. The fear that the Dragon -Ruin wire led to wire and with a length. Trained by Bret Schwartz, Fearless Delight has three career victories with $ 20,901 in income.
