Bidders of real estate have the chance to pick up houses for prizes that can be at an NSW auction on Tuesday evening as $ 1.
As part of the resilient housing program of the state and the Commonwealth Government, nine houses affected by floods will go under the hammer.
There is no spare price for these houses, which means that bidding may start and end at $ 1 if this is the only offer.
The houses are located in Burrringbar and South Murwillumbah in the Northern Rivers, a region that is considerably influenced by flooding in 2022.

Now the flooded properties such as 37 Wartrop Street, South Murwillumbah are for sale at an auction without a reserve.
As part of the $ 880 million buy-back schedule within the Resilient Homes program, the NSW Reconstruction Authority bought different ones affected by floods and flood-sensitive houses of owners who could not claim insurance.
The houses are not then placed at the auction, with successful bidders having 12 months to move the houses to the flood-free country.
Broker Scott Reading of First National Murwillumbah said that the upcoming auction offer attracted mixed interest.
“A lot of research has been done with many people are interested,” he said. “I feel it will be a pretty big night.”

Mr. Reading said that “many locals” wanted to pick up the houses for a bargain.
“But quite a bit of interest has also come from outside the city,” he said. “So a bit of a mix of both.”
Regarding his expectations for the prices of the houses under the hammer, Mr. Reading said that the auctions would be unpredictable.
“Look, it’s really open,” he said. “I’m not sure where the prices will end.”
6077 Tweed Valley Way, Burringbar is another feature that is available at the auction.
Mr. Reading said that 37 Wartrop ST and 6077 Tweed Valley Way had attracted the most interest from researchers so far.
“They are just nice Queenslander houses and I think they are very popular,” he said.
Both are spacious family houses with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Tuesday’s auction is the fourth Tour of NSW Reconstruction Authority (NSWRA) Buyback House auctions, after a positive response to the community to earlier sales.
The kitchen at 6077 Tweed Valley Way is emphasized by a forest green Splashback.
In earlier auction rounds, houses were sold for just $ 347 and as high as $ 101,000.
Minister of Recovery Janelle Saffin said that the program was a “a creative way to keep these houses in the community.”
“By auctioning these houses, we help save historic houses that are affected by the floods and making a small but meaningful contribution to the housing challenges that we are confronted with in the northern rivers,” she said.
The auctions will take place tonight at 6 p.m. at Murwillumbah Services Club.
