On Tuesday, September 23, the Seattle Kraken traveled to the north to take on the Calgary Flames. After a Split-Squad match on Sunday, the Flames were back on Scotiabank Saddledome at full power. This certainly benefited from Calgary, like she De Kraken defeated 4-1.
Summary
Seven minutes after the first period, the home team first scored. Rory Kerins passed the puck on to Hunter Brzustewicz on the Blauwe Lijn. He took a shot and Yegor Sharangovich stood in front of the net to give the puck in it.
Before the flames could celebrate too much, De Kraken tied the game. Eeli Tolvanen sent the puck around the boards for Mason Marchment. He saw Mitchell Stephens in front of the net and passed the puck to him. Stephens turned around to get a grip on the puck, and with a backhand shot he put Seattle on the board.
Even two minutes after the second, Ryker Evans took a small penalty for crocheting Matvei Gridin. With less than a minute on the Power Play skating kerins to the net with Connor Zary. Kerins lost control of the puck, but he bounced back to his stick. He would no longer miss this chance, and with a shot Kerins gave the Flames the lead again.
Only 39 seconds in the third period had Matt Coronato de Puck and passed it on to Morgan Frost, who was behind the net. Coronato skated over the ice and when he had an open chance, Frost gave the puck back to him. With a shot, the flames extended their lead to two goals.
With three minutes left, the Kraken Matt Murray pulled out of the net. 30 seconds later, Sam Morton gang on this and scored an empty net goal. With this goal, the Flames won 4-1.

Both teams will play again tomorrow, Wednesday 24 September. De Kraken travels to Edmonton and competes against the oilers at 6:00 PM PDT. The Flames set out and compete against the Vancouver Canucks at 19:00 PDT.
