Grove city, oh – Five different horses have two victories each due to the first three harness racing legs of the Buckeye Stallion series for first -year Colt Pacers. They all go for win number three, because Eldorado Scioto Downs organizes five divisions of $ 20,000 of the fourth leg on Friday (August 22).
All 14 horses that have at least one victory in this year’s BSS this year, will be introduced in the fourth stage of Friday. Those submissions are emphasized by double winners Heerz Corinthian, Hunka Hunka, Opportunities on RPJ, Stoke the Fire and Wagon Day.
Hunka hunka and chances of RPJ are in the first division, along with the winner of the First-Pije catch my dragon. The chance of RPJ (Dan Noble) is the early 5-2 favorite about 3-1 Second choice catch my dragon (Trevor Smith), which will leave from the rail. Hunka Hunka (Brett Miller) opened 5-1 chances and departs from post two. The chance of RPJ is one Downby theseaside Ruin trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. His two BSS victories arrived in the first stage in MGM Northfield Park in a lifelong 1: 55.3 and the third stage in Urbana in 1: 57.1. He finished third in the second stage at Scioto. Trained by Jeff Smith, Catch the fire Ruin if my dragon took a division of the opening leg in 1:55. Hunka Hunka is a trainee of Daren Harvey and catches the fire foal with three wins and one second in five seasonal starts. His BSS victories came in the opening leg in 1:56 and the third leg in 1: 55.4.
The fourth division also has a few dual winners in Stoke the Fire and Wagon Day next to winners of the second pipes on Sugar and the Ebony Dragon. Morgan Jr. Trainee Odds on Sugar (Noble) departs from the rail as the 6-5 morning line favorite. The Downby theseaside Colt’s win for second legs came in 1: 52.1. Stoke the Fire (Chris Lems) is the 3-1 second choice and departs from post two. Trained by Scott Cox, the Catch the fire Geld’s BSS victories came in the second stage in a lifelong 1: 53.1 and the third leg in 1:56. Wagon Day (Kayne Kauffman), a winner in the second stage in a lifelong 1: 53.3 and the third leg in 1:57, opened 7-1 opportunities. The With the highest praise Money is trained by Mike Polhamus. Tyler Bates-Stagia De Ebony Dragon (Luke Hanners) opened 10-1 opportunities. Heerz Corinthian, a winner in the first two legs in 1:56 and a lifelong-best 1: 53.2 is one Downby theseaside Ruin trained by Jessica McCown. This division also contains the winner of the first leg figure and winner of the third leg Ain’t No Fire with respective morning lines of 5-1 and 8-1. Aaron Merriman will ride a number for trainer Brian Brown, and Sam Widger will be in the Sulky with no fire for Thomas Litt.
Winner of the first legs Barcelona Legend and the legacy of the third driving winner Summa’s Legacy are in the fifth division with early 5-2 favorite Solid Rock. Rock Colt Solid Rock (Miller) is trained by Dan O’Mara. He has two seconds and two -thirds in seven seasonal starts and departs from the rail.
