This year’s bonus pool was a check below the record-breaking total of $129.1 million in the 2024 postseason. Per CBA guidelines, players and managers who participated in the playoffs will receive a full share, as will all players placed on the injured list before June 1 or later. Teams must vote on players who were not on the roster before that date to decide whether they will receive a full or partial share.
Many club staffers are not eligible for post-season shares, but can earn cash prizes from the pool. Front office managers are also not eligible for this receipt.
Here are each player’s allocated bonus pools and the full share totals for the other 10 teams after the season:
- Seattle Mariners: $182,376 (69)
- Milwaukee Brewers: $168,852 (70)
- Philadelphia Phillies: $52,043 (64)
- Chicago Cubs: $48,741 (70)
- New York Yankees: $47,318 (71)
- Detroit Tigers: $46,865 (75)
- Cincinnati Reds: $11,527 (69)
- Cleveland Guardians: $11,056 (71)
- San Diego Padres: $10,710 (68)
- Boston Red Sox: $9,346 (91)
These bonuses primarily benefit players who are in their first few years of arbitration eligibility or are in the pre-arbitration phase of their careers.
