The meeting
The humidity is high. We have succeeded in the Timea Cormorant of the rainy season that will soon be over and it is a Seoul mixed by the rain who meets us with love and warmth. Expected, a bit tired and at the same time annoying about our first part of the trip. We go to Gangnam in the southeast of Seoul, where we will live for the first few days. It is empty on the street where we land and we find the world’s sweetest little local restaurant where we experience the best vongols with noodles inspired by Kore.

We set the clock early. In the morning we take the train to the east coast and gangneum in the province of Wonju. We can’t get breakfast, so there will be some local bean balls and a later latte at the train station. The flavors are strange and fun and a challenge for the taste buds, but we have decided that everything should be tried on this trip.

We push along the countryside and small cities. Gray small concrete nodules that come up from the green hills.
And here the day starts. The longest and most emotional in a long time. Ahn-Sophie can meet her brother. His long -awaited little brother.
A meeting between two people who lived their lives in parallel in completely different worlds, but with the same blood in the veins. The first thing I and Katja have been eliminated is that their walking style is identical. We cry and smile at the same time. So incredibly fun meeting. A meeting where we feel such a strong identity. The meeting that I did not experience in a certain way.

For me a new sister with the same roots. A sister who received an answer and found his family who from now on is forever in our country of birthplare Korea.
