Do you have trouble setting your week 4 fantasy -line -Ups? Maybe I can help … Below you can find my top fire (tree) and ice (bust) players in every position for week 5. I also include my sleeper of the week at any position in case you are in a deeper competition or need a replacement for an ice player.

Don’t miss my fire and ice cream card at the bottom of this page. There I have noticed all my fire, good, sleeper and ice games for week 5 of the Fantasy football season 2025.

Quarterbacks

Fire QB Start of the week: Justin Fields (vs. dal)

Fields was my choice of fire in week 4 and I stay here with him in week 5.

He is the QB7 in PPG at 20.2, despite a huge four-point dud version in one of his three games played. Played in the other two weeks, he scored 29.5 points and 27 points. He will get the Dallas Cowboys this week and they have allowed every quarterback they have confronted this season (Jalen Hurts, Russell Wilson, Caleb WilliamsAnd Jordan Love) to score at least 24 fantasy points against them.

Sleeper QB of the week: Bryce Young (at Mia)

Listen, Bryce Young has smelly this year; I get it. However, he is playing for his work this week and he could not ask for a better matchup at home. This season, the Miami Dolphins have allowed a competition -high 26.5 fantasy points per match, such as Daniel Jones, Male -duck Maye and Justin Fields all scored 26 or more fantasy points against them. It is a risk to start young, but at least we have proof that Young is able to put together a good fantasy week, because he put together a series of productive matches to end the 2024 season and had a performance of 21.3 points against the cardinals in week 2.

ICE QB Start of the week: Roof Prescott (Die NYJ)

Last week I kept my low ranking for Dak Prescott; He was great, but I am not ready to buy in the idea that he will be a weekly good fantasy start in 2025, especially as long as Ceedee Lamb has been put aside. The defense of the New York Jets is not good, but that has not become many fantasy points for opposite Quarterbacks, outside the four-touch day in week 1 of Aaron Rodgers. Bakery Mayfield (17.7 points), Tua Tagovailoa (15.7) and Josh All (11.8) were all kept under control in their matchup against the jets in 2025.

Moreover, this game is on the road, and Prescott often performs at a much higher level at home. This season he only scored 12 and eight fantasy points in his two -matches, while last season he had on average only 14.1 fantasy points per game on the road. Even in his fantastic season 2023, Prescott had on average only 16 fantasy points on the road compared to 25 at home. Do not fall into the fall of chasing last week’s points for Prescott.

Run

Fire RB Start of the week: Breece Hall (vs. dal)

Two New York Jets players like a choice of fire for week 5? … that makes me uncomfortable. With the combination of the matchup and its expected increased workload, however, there is no reason why Breece Hall should not have a fantastic fantasy outing this weekend. With teammate Braelon All On the way to an injured reserve (IR) with a sprained MCL, the Hall workload must be much more stable, at least for the following month, especially in the red zone, where Snaps all dominated.

In the two games with at least 15 touches this season, Hall 145 and 111 Scrimmage has registered. He still has to score a touchdown of the season, but they have to get into the red zone with an elevated workload. The Dallas Cowboys have allowed the sixth most fantasy points to the declining position this season.

Sleeper RB of the week: Woody Marks (near Bal)

Marks was informed of Nick Chubb for the first time in week 4 and played on a career-high 57% of the Houston The attacking snaps of Texans in the game. Marks flourished as the leadership of the Texans and placed 119 yards and two touchdowns on 21 touches last week. During the first four weeks of the season, Marks is an average of 6.4 yards per touch, while Chubb is struggling with only 4.2 meters per touch. This Sunday, Marks will get a great matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, who this season have allowed the most fantasy points per match to the declining position, thanks to a line of defense decimated by injury.

ICE RB Start of the week: Kenneth Walker III (vs. TB)

After a week 1 blunder, Walker has been a solid fantasy producer for the past three weeks. However, he is still stuck in a split backfield with Zach CharbonNet, and shares far too many snaps, touches and touchdowns. Now he gets a heavy matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay held Bijan Robinson Up to only 2.0 meters per Carry, Saquon Barkley to 2.3 yards per Carry, and Breece Hall up to only 2.3 yards per Carry. Robinson and Barkley finally had a good days against the Buccaneers because of the production as a recipient … But Walker has only six receptions through four games. Walker is not a must-sit, but this week I expect a disappointing achievement for him, especially if he doesn’t find the end zone.

Wide recipients

Fire WR Start of the week: Quentin Johnston (USA)

Johnston is the WR4 in fantasy points behind Just Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Rome Odunze. I know we all just wait for the shoe to fall, but I don’t think that happens in this matchup against the Washington commanders. This season they have allowed the ninth fantasy points and the fifth meters per reception for broad recipients.

Johnston has received at least 70 yards this season in all four games, with a plus touchdown in three of the four games. Johnston, Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are the only players who have had more than 70 receiving yards in each of the first four weeks. He leads the chargers in goals, receives recruiting and receives touchdowns.

SLEEPER WR START OF THE WEEK: Darius killton (on no)

Jaxson Dart was impressive in his first NFL start, but he needs a new top goal with Malik Nubers for the season because of a torn ACL. Darius Slayton led the Giants with 44 receiving yards in week 4, while he was 40% of Dart’s 111 passing yards in the game. This season, the New Orleans Saints allowed 13.7 yards per reception and five touchdowns for broad recipients, both in the top seven in the NFL.

ICE WR starts of the week: Zay -flowers (vs Hou)

After a monster week 1 version when he scored 28.1 points, Flowers has on average only 10.9 fantasy points during his last three games. Flowers will probably fit this Sunday from Cooper Rush, such as Lamar Jackson is expected to miss the time with a hamstring injury. Flowers saw five goals from Rush in week 4, but on average only 5.3 yards per reception with him as a passerby. The Houston Texans have a great pass defense and Puka Nacua is the only broad receiver who scored 13+ fantasy points against them this season.

Tight ends

Fire the start of the week: Dalton Kincaid (versus not)

Kincaid scored the sixth most fantasy points on the tight final position during the first four weeks of the season. This year, Kincaid caught a touchdown in three of the four games, while he also comes in three of the four at least four receptions. The three touchdowns from Kincaid are bound for the most under tight ends this season. The New England Patriots released the tight ends of Carolina Panthers Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans to score every touchdown last weekend.

Sleeper too from the week: Darren Waller (with car)

Week 4 was the first time of Darren Waller on an NFL field in almost two years, and he immediately came out and scored two touchdowns. The Miami dolphins urgently need more pass catchers, not only because of the lack of talent in the tight end space, but also now with Tyreek Hill Out for the season. Waller played only 27.6% of Miami’s attacking snaps and only had three receptions for 27 yards in the game, but he would have to see his goals and snaps increase as he improves his conditioning. Waller gets a nice matchup in week 5 against the Carolina Panthers, who have allowed the third fantasy points to tight ends since the beginning of the 2024 season.

Ice at the start of the week: Dallas struck (vs den)

Goedert scored fantasy points with double digits in all three games he played this season, but most of his points have come on the back of Touchdowns. He has received fewer than 45 yards in all three competitions. The Denver Broncos still have to allow a tight end to score a touchdown this season, while Tyler Warren was the only tight end to put 50-plus meters against them this year.

Fire & Ice Fantasy Football plays

Here I categorize every relevant fantasy player in five different buckets: (1) Fire starts (best start of the week); (2) Thumbs up (starts well); (3) risky players with top (sleepers); (4) Ice starts (predicting poor performance of good player); (5) Stop (must sit).

Note: If a player/defense is not mentioned, I am not considering starting them in week 5.
