Final list for IPL 2026 mini-auction announced, 350 players shortlisted

The Indian Premier League (IPL) Auction The player list for the 2026 season has been finalized, with a total of 350 players set to go under the hammer at the upcoming auction at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, December 16.

A total of 1390 players registered for the Player Auction, of which 350 players were shortlisted; 240 Indian and 110 are foreign recruits. The pool consists of 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped foreign players, adding significant depth and new talent to this year’s auction list.

Franchises compete for a total of 77 available slots, including 31 spots reserved for foreign players.

The highest reserve price remains INR 2 crore with 40 players choosing to participate in the auction in this category.

The auction is expected to start at 1 p.m UAE Time (2:30 PM Indian Standard Time) on Tuesday.
