With two newcomers, Ireland Women and Pakistan Men, it will start exactly from Ireland, as well as Argentina for an exciting journey of no fewer than 144 games. And on top of the pride of winning the competition, both champions will guarantee their place at the LA28 Olympic Games!
The season starts in Ireland and Argentina
Germany vs Belgium Men get the season in Ireland. The promotion will continue later in the day in Argentina with men’s champions in the Netherlands that compete against the Debutanten Pakistan of the competition.
The men of Belgium, England and Germany, together with women from Belgium, England and Ireland, play the first block matches in Ireland. In Argentina, the Lion And Leon will be men and Pakistan men respectively, as well as Germany and Dutch women.
The controversial encounters between these top teams will certainly offer moments of great excitement for fans from the first whistle!
Seasonal finale in Belgium, Germany and England
The competition will be closed in an epic way on 28 June 2026, with exciting collisions in three countries, namely Belgium, Germany and England. With 6 women’s and 6 men’s teams in action on closing day, the competition promises to keep the fans on the edge of their seats until the last whistle as it did in the 2024-25 season, when the Fih Hockey World Cup qualification of the men was decided during the last game of the season as Spain offered Germany.
New faces
This season, the arrival of Ireland women and Pakistan men will see, both their debut in the competition, promoted through the FIH Hockey Nations Cup 2024-25, which adds further depth and excitement to the Pro League. Their entry ensures new rivalry and broader involvement for fans around the world.
Defensive champions
Both Dutch men and women come in the new season and reigning champions, after they have demanded the titles in the previous FIH Hockey Pro League season. The Orange Hockey teams will defend their crowns against an increasingly competitive field!
