Faviana reveals plans for New Long Island City Warehouse

A new, seven -storey commercial and production for mixed use is planned for Long Island City, Queens. According to a recent application at the New York City Department of City Planning, Faviana CEO, Omid Moradi, has submitted a re-use to develop the property on 31-10 and 31-16 Hunters Point Ave. The plan, submitted via the entity 31-10 Hunters Point, is building a new warehouse on the site that Faviana has taken over for around $ 4.3 million in 2015.

The location is currently housing an industrial building with two floors where the company produces its generation Celebration LoungeWear Collection. The adjacent building on 31-16 Hunters Point Ave. Is owned by Hunters Point 1031 Holdings-Een Entity with apparent ties with Gilman Management Corporation-EN is currently the home of clothing manufacturer Paddy Lee Fashions.

As the Project is approvedThe new building would split a total of 83,500 square base between 39,642 square base of commercial space and 43,858 square foot production space. The plans also include 40 parking spaces.

Moradi stated in the submission that the new development would “improve and integrate the industrial and commercial nature of the neighborhood; improve the street scene; and offer a sustainable and assignment -oriented development.” This expansion shows a continuous dedication to securing high -quality Long Island City Warehouse space for production.

Faviana, founded in 1988 by Paul, Omid and Navid Moradi, is known for selling dresses with a “refined aesthetics” and clean lines. The dress manufacturer plans to maintain and grow its activities in Long Island City through this new project to “strengthen its local production company,” said the submission.

This news comes on the heels of another remarkable development in the area: United Construction has recently submitted plans for a 387 unit, 268,000 square meters of luxury residential building not far away on 23-07 43rd Ave., which emphasizes the mix of applications that develops in the neighborhood.
