Gameweek 1 -Team reveal: The starting seven
Goalkeeper
With injuries that put aside other important defensive players, I support Luton Town -goalkeeper Josh Keeley (G) Like my opening game.
I am convinced that the Hatterters keep a clean sheet on the opening evening. The attack by AFC Wimbledon was not convincing in League Two, and I don’t see them at the moment as a big threat in League One. I expect Luton to secure a shutout for the debut of Keeley and get away with three points.
I also received the vice-capincy on him, which means that I can apply the vice-capincy trick if it drags.
Defenders
I like an assets outside the position, and Albert Adombah (D) Is a great pick -up. The 37-year-old is mentioned as a defender and is a natural right winger that produced nine target contributions last season in 10 Starts and played a total of 42 games.
That kind of attacking output combined with the potential for defensive points is too good to leave, even against a tough opponent such as Swindon Town (H). With less than 1% ownership, he is currently my main difference.
However, he is a temporary designation for the time being. If he doesn’t start Michael Morrison (D) From Cambridge United is my alternative choice. He is a much more stable option that will probably protect a clean slate and is a threat to points on both ends.
My other defensive choice is Mickey Demetriou (D)An undisputed striking last season. He was a real ‘set and forget’ player, on average a competition-leading 8.1 points. His 350 clearance and 13 shutouts in 35 games are just phenomenal.
Opposite Salford City (A), Crewe Alexandra will test, but the advantage for defensive points is huge. I expect that Demetriou immediately delivers a great appetite and will continue its excellent shape. With only 13% ownership, he is a fantastic choice of sleep.
Midfielders
Luke Molyneux (M) Was the first name on my team magazine after his exceptional season, where he delivered 30 target contributions in 45 games to help Doncaster Rovers win the League Two title. In particular, with the rule changes, he will also benefit from the shots when raising the goal.
It will be interesting to see if he can replicate this form in League One, and his first match against a middle-of-the-road opponent in Exeter City (H) is the perfect test. I have deliberately avoided the highest selected players. On this occasion I cannot overlook the number seven.
On all set pieces, Oliver Norwood (M) Guided stockport county to a play-off finish, picking up 10 target contributions, 79 important passes and 40 interceptions in 44, a total of 221 points. Stockport defeated Bolton (H) 5-0 last year, where Norwood picked up an assist. If they want to repeat this, Norwood will be involved.
To complete my midfield, I selected Barnsley’s Davis Keillor-Dunn (M). Despite a difficult game against Plymouth Argyle (A), his advantage is huge.
When another Active speaks outside the position, 26 goals and 43 shots on Target (SOT) in 45 games, play in the front, volumes. Just like Molyneux, I believe he will benefit the new rules.
Ahead
Aaron Collins (F) Is a striking choice despite his relocation from League One to League Two with MK down. His versions were impressive, with five pre-season goals for his new side. He seems to be the center of Paul Warne’s outfit, building on his 17 target contributions in Bolton last season.
I expect that he runs the ground, especially with a home game against newly promoted Oldham Athletic. Although the results of the MK down season have not been exciting, the Talisman is surrounded by top -attacking talent, and the advantage of SOT makes him a great choice again.
Gameweek 1 -Team reveal: Club Choices
Of all my choices, the club selection is the one I am most undecided with. At the moment I tend to Luton Town And Cardiff City. I discovered last season that I didn’t use all the choices I wanted, so I hope to let the ground run this time.
Even with all the recent changes on Kenilworth Road, I am convinced that the Hatters are ready for Gameweek 1. There is nothing better than supporting an opening night active, especially in the form of a club. Because AFC Wimbledon does not make as much new signing sessions as expected, I do not anticipate a upset of the first night.
Although many are focused on the Hatters, I am also impressed by the move from Brian Barry-Murphy to Cardiff. His playing style fits well with the talent they have retained.
They are confronted with a Peterborough United Squad that not only lost important players, but struggled defensively last season. A large score in Cardiff City Stadium is certainly on the maps.
However, I am worried that a kick -off of the lunch could be counterproductive. If the game does not produce the returns that I hope for, my club choices can be a failure before the 15:00 matches even start.
If I decide to go in a different direction, I also consider some other seductive home devices: Wigan Athletic VS Northampton Town, Cambridge United vs Cheltenham Town, and Bristol Rovers versus Harrogate town.
