- Coventry City – Ben Sheaf (M) – out for a few weeks with a groin problem
- Derby County – Corey Blackett-Taylor (F) – will miss six weeks with a hamstring problem
- Derby County – Patrick Agyemang (F) – this week sidelined when he recovers from an operation
- Derby County – Owen Beck (D) – remains doubtful with a slight injury
- Hull City – Si Comanger (D) – unlikely that it will appear after a hamstring -weak
- Ipswich Town – Omari Hutchinson (F) – has recovered from disease and is suitable to start with
- Leicester City – Bobby de Cordova REID (F) – A few weeks out with injury
- Middlesbrough – Finnish (M) – will not start, but can appear if he recovers from a thigh injury

- Wrexham – Kieffer Moore (F) – challenges to appear after an ankle injury
