That was not on the Bingo sign out of season.
The Vikings found their way to an explosive ESPN story about Chicago Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams in one way or another.
ESPN published an article on Thursday, one day after the NFL schedule, with reference to a new book that will reveal that Chicago Quarterback Caleb Williams was worried about the organization that led to the NFL design of 2024.
Somehow the Vikings in the Bombshell report were concluded, as Williams apparently wanted to play Minnesota – Not Chicago.
Caleb Williams is said to want to play for the Vikings
The article mentioned“After a last season at USC, Caleb Williams was not sure of what he wanted to do when he prepared for the 2024 design. At the NFL Combine that year he met Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell. The two made it up and Caleb Williams started to play for playing for playing for playing.”
Allegedly Williams told his father: “I have to go to the Vikings.”
To which his father replied, “Let’s do it.”
The bears eventually set up the first in general 13 months ago, and there was not much mystery about the selection at that time. But Williams’ wish to play for the purple team is brand new.
Terrible timing for the bears
The timing of ESPN’s shocking revelation cannot be worse.
Chicago rented new head coach Ben Johnson from the Detroit Lions this season and wanted to turn the page in the Matt Eberflus era that ended in grief. General Manager Ryan Poles built a pretty chic free desk and on board a tight end Colston Loveland and broad recipient Luther Burden III of the design six weeks later.
Things are – were – looking for Chicago finally. Now the shameful report on Williams is that there is no first place on his lap. Oofta.
Continued proof of “Quarterback Whisperer” Kevin O’Connell
Williams probably wanted to play for Minnesota because of the team’s head coach, Kevin O’Connell. He is known as a Leaguewide ‘Quarterback Whisperer’, and he and Williams apparently dropped it before the design.
The problem? Minnesota had nothing close to a top 3 Draft Pick for Williams in 2024, and Chicago did not stand in the Williams Pick for a rival of a division. Not in a million years.
Yet the desire of Williams to be a viking is proof of O’Connell as a hot commodity. Until Ben Johnson did not have such a coach.
The Jordan Addison -Hoek
Wide recipient Jordan Addison works for the Vikings and he played one season with Williams on USC.
The two are friends, and perhaps a side dish of Williams’ enthusiasm for Minnesota his buddy, Addison. The two teased an NFL duo of the same team on social media before the design, although most agreed that it was all for the joke.

According to ESPN and the book of referred, Williams may not have plagued.
Generally now a disputed point
Of course the information is now useless because of Minnesota. The club cannot act for Williams, nor would want to play with JJ McCarthy itch to play QB1.
However, the report paints Chicago in a filthy light while raising Minnesota, who should do wonders for the rivalry, at least for fans at the water cooler.
More context of ESPN
ESPN added more beef to the report: “Quarterback Caleb Williams was so worried about choosing the Chicago Bears in 2024 that he and his family weighed to bypass the entire NFL concept, consultation with lawyers to find a way in the collective football agreement of the detail, with detail, with detail,” details with detail “with detail with” details “with detail with” details “
“The upcoming book, which will be published in September, offers a detailed report of what it means to be a quarterback at different levels, from high school to university to the NFL and what it is like for legends in retirement.”
Williams will actually play in return for The Vikings in week 1 of the 2025 season – ON Monday evening football.
ESPN added: “It has unprecedented access with dozens of quarterbacks and generation greats such as John Elway, Johnny Unitas, Warren Moon, members of the Manning Family and Steve Young, among other things. It also includes current signal callers such as Kirk Cousins and Drake Maye.”
“Moreover, there are new details within the ruthless recruitment of Texas Quarterback Bend Manning and the Youth Quarterback circuit. It also describes LSU Quarterback Colin Hurley’s near-Dood AutoWrak in January and the subsequent complete recovery. Wickersham is an ESPN reporter.
Of course, some Berenfans used social media to call the allegations ‘fake news’ – a common sense in contemporary America that is used to denigrate accurate information that is unfavorable for a person’s agenda.
