Former Manchester United Right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been appointed West Ham United Player of the Season.
The Hammers announced Wan-Bissaka as the player of the season in a statement on their website on Sunday.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka is voted Betway Hammer of the year before 2024/25 by supporters of West Ham United,” the club said.
“The versatile Full-Back and Wing-Back have enjoyed a fantastic debut season in Claret and Blue, from 35 of the 37 Premier League matches of the Hammers, scored two goals, offers four assists and leads the team in tackles and intercepts, rank second in Kluis and important fit.
“The 27-year-old has been one of the first names on the team magazine throughout the season, with 36 of a possible 40 games in all competitions and only missed three games.”
Wan-Bissaka reflects on crowned hammer of the year and said: “It’s great, a good feeling and a great achievement for myself. My goal is just to keep pushing and keeping improving.
“From the moment I came to love, the fans have always been there and that has also been a help for my performances.
“I just play my game, try to improve where I can and will just work hard. I think we will bounce back from this season and try to improve and hopefully have a better season next season.”

Wan-Bissaka becomes the sixth member of the current West Ham team, which is named Hamer from the year after Aaron Cresswell, Mikhail Antonio, łukasz Fabiański, Tomáš Souček and Jarrod Bowen.
The Hammer of the Year Award was introduced by the West Ham United Suporters’ Club in 1957/58, in which defender Andy Malcolm was elected the Outstanding Player of the Club’s Second Division Title Winning Campaign.
Sir Trevor Brooking holds the record for most hammer of the year awards with five, followed by Bobby Moore, Billy Bonds and Julian Dicks with Elk, and Sir Geoff Hurst, Alvin Martin, Scott Parker and Declan Rice with three.
FA Cup winners Ken Brown, Johnny Byrne, Martin Peters, Alan Devonshire, Phil Parkes and Paul Allen are also recognized.
The first overseas winner was Luděk Mikloško in 1990/91, followed by people like Shaka Hislop, Paolo di Canio, Carlos Tevez, Winston Reid, Dimitri Payet and Marko Arnautović.
