Former India Pacer Mohit Sharma remembered a rare copy when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Schipper Mrs. Dhoni lost his cool during the Champions League T20 (CLT20). Mohit revealed that Dhoni abused him even though he took a wicket in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), after he misunderstood a signal.
Dhoni is known for his calm attitude and the title of ‘Captain Cool’. He led India to three ICC trophies and the Super Kings to multiple IPL titles. However, Dhoni also had a fiery side. Mohit Sharma joined the Chennai Super Kings in 2013. Mrs. Dhoni supported him like a frontline pacer. He took 20 wickets in his debut -season season. The Pacer won the Purple Cap in 2014 with 23 Wickets.
Sharma picked up 57 wickets from 2013 to 2015. After leaving CSK, Mohit Kings Xi Punjab, Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans represented before he returned to the Super Kings in 2019. He could not recreate his early dominance in his second stint and added 12 scalps to his tally.
Mohit grabbed 69 wickets over four seasons in Geel, making him one of the best wicket makers in the franchise. His performance under Dhoni not only formed his T20 career, but also paved the way for his call-up in India in 2013.
