This season, set pieces are in the spotlight, with more than 35% of all goals in the Premier League coming from corners, free kicks or penalties.
That is an increase not far removed from 10% compared to 2024/2025.
With dead-ball situations more important than ever and the October international break offering some respite, it’s time to once again shine the spotlight on the players with set-play responsibility.
