In a letter to the shareholders, the Eternal founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal said that the company is currently operating 38 bistro kitchens in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR.

Early demand trends are encouraging, he noticed, in which the kitchens generate incremental orders without being able to cannibalize the existing company of Zomato.

Via Bistro, Eternal focuses on two different demand bags, customers who are looking for affordable, high -quality meals in houses and people who are looking for fast, snacky options that will be delivered within 10 minutes.

Goyal added that although customer traction has been strong, the company must refine its business model to achieve profitability. He said that Eternal will continue to do to continue to make calibrated investments to build a scalable and profitable company for food services, with further updates that have to be shared in due course. At the time, Goyal quoted challenges such as limited restaurant density and kitchen infrastructure, which made consistent 10 minutes of deliveries difficult. Since the company then the company is consolidated its fast food services under the Bistro of Blinkit, shifting from restaurant partnerships to obtain strict control over preparing Menus. In May, Swiggy announced that Bolt had grown from 400 to 500 cities in December and now contributes more than 10% of his volumes for food episode, the same share that Zomato had quickly before he was stopped.

In addition, Zepto has reduced its 10 -minute service, Zepto Cafe, due to problems with the supply chain and staff shortages. In July it reported that Zepto had reduced the activities, and in May it paused services in various cities, including Delhi, Agra, Chandigarh, Mohali, Amritsar and Meerut, who influenced 44 stores.
