Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is still trying to sort out his management future.
Life at United
Ten Hag was appointed manager of the club in 2022 and guided the team to a third place and victory in the Carabao Cup in his first season.
The second year also saw a trophy as United won the FA Cup, but witnessed a huge drop in league performance as they finished eighth.
The third year was also very disappointing and the Dutchman was fired in October 2024 after a 1-2 defeat against West Ham United.
Bayer Leverkusen fiasco
Ten Hag was out of work for the rest of the season, but decided to go to Leverkusen in Germany in the summer.
During a disastrous time at the club, he was sacked after just three games.
He reportedly did fallen out with the players and board members and in just a few months had made a terrible impression on the club.

Since his dismissal, Ten Hag has been linked to jobs in England, such as the position at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Yet it was reported last week that Ten Hag was in talks with former club Ajax to complete a sensational return.
Dutch paper ADVERTISEMENT However, has poured cold water on the idea of Ten Hag returning to Ajax.
The article states: “Erik ten Hag will not be the new coach of Ajax. The born Tukker is not looking forward to a return to the Amsterdam club, despite a number of informal conversations with, among others, technical director Alex Kroes.”
Ten Hag reportedly sees insufficient basis for a successful collaboration in the short term, now that numerous positions at Ajax have become uncertain.
The newspaper also notes that “Ten Hag rejected interested Wolverhampton Wanderers last week and is still considering his future.”
