Runs free in T20 cricket, but when full member states of the ICC take the field, the quality of batting and bowling often makes enormous totals rare. Yet some teams have succeeded in crossing remarkable scores. Here are the top five highest totals of full member teams in T20 internationals.
1. England – 304/2 vs Zuid -Africa, 2025
England only became the second full members of the 300 marking in T20i’s. In Cardiff on September 12, 2025, Phil Salt 141 hit 60 balls while Jos Butler 83 out of 30 shot. Their 304 for 2 is now the highest total by a full member team in T20Is.
2. India – 278/3 vs Sri Lanka, 2017
India once contained the world record for the highest T20i -Total. On Indore in December 2017, Rohit Sharma’s 118 of 43 balls wore them to 260 and then. India finally finished 260 Plus and crushed Sri Lanka with a large margin.
3. Afghanistan – 278/3 VS Ireland, 2019
The large left -wing left -handed Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan did not surprise fans with 162 from 62 balls in Dehradun. His fireworks helped Afghanistan Post 278 for 3, which remained as T20i World Record for years.
4. Australia – 263/3 vs Sri Lanka, 2016
Glenn Maxwell from Australia went crazy in Pallekele and did not hit 145 from 65 balls. Supported by David Warner and Usman Khawaja, the Aussies 263 accumulated for 3, which at the time was the highest ever in T20i’s.
5. South Africa -259/4 vs West -Indië, 2023
In Centurion, South Africa 259 was chasing against the West Indies in an unforgettable Run-Fest. Quinton de Kock’s 100 and Reeza Hendricks ’68 use the stage, because the Proteas matched the 258 of West India to complete the highest successful chase in the T20i history.
