Another week and another round of updates to Edits, offering more ways to create eye-catching video clips.
This week the Edits team added still image animation, a Boomerang-style reverse play option, and new sound effects.
Although perhaps the biggest update is the ability to view and update entire caption transcripts in a single view, streamlining your video captioning process.
As you can see in this example, you can now implement closed captioning operations in a single screen user interface, so you can easily disable errors, instead of having to search line by line and word by word to make changes.
That can save you a lot of time, while also making your videos more accessible thanks to improved subtitles.
Edits have also been added 400 new sound effects, offering more audio customization options, wAlthough it also has a new Lip Sync option, which lets you upload a still image of a face and then have it speak a voice recording.
That could have a variety of fun applications, and could lead to all the new trends in Edits-created clips.
Finally, Edits now also has a Boomerang-style Reverse effect option, so you can play back specific elements or entire clips.
Like that one time Coldplay shot a music video backwards and then played it forwards to create a weird effect. You can now do the same, which can add another interesting element to your content.
Meta continues to release updates to its video editing app, with the Edits team rolling out updates and additions almost weekly since the app first launched back in April.
