The notification for recruitment of unmarried youth under different Agniveer categories was released on the official website on February 13. Applications are invited from candidates residing in all 33 districts of Telangana falling under the jurisdiction of Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad.
Recruitment will be conducted for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk or Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass categories. Eligible candidates may apply for up to two categories based on their qualifications.
The upper limit for all Agniveer categories has been increased from 21 to 22 years. The online common entrance exam is conducted in 13 languages including Telugu. Bonus marks will be awarded to candidates with ITI, Diploma and NCC qualifications.
Applications must be submitted online. The registration window closes on April 1. Admission tickets for the online Common Entrance Examination, which is tentatively scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 15, can be downloaded from the same website.
