DWCS 81 Results: Keep it locked for excitement on Tuesday evening

DWCS 81, the fifth week of season nine of Contender Series, Is here! Tonight is the UFC Apex in Enterprise, NV the site of the last event of Tuesday evening MMA promotion. After tonight’s event, the season is completed halfway.

Live reporting from the show starts tonight at 8 p.m. et/ 5 p.m. PT. In the United States of America, tonight’s map will be shown via ESPN+. After a mainly successful weighing window yesterday morning, tonight’s schedule will take place in the UFC Apex.

DWCS 81 Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight, the heavyweights go to the cage while unbeaten Anthony Guarascio (3-0, 1 NC MMA) meets Korte-Notice opponent Steven Asponund (5-1 MMA,) an alumnus of the LFA. All fights will be three rounds after five minutes per round.

DWCS 81 Co-Main event

Immediately prior to the Headliner fight, the DWCS 81 Co-Main Attraction takes place at Vederweight. Cam Teague (9-1 MMA, 0-1 DWCS) makes his second attempt to get a UFC deal via Competition series versus Lerryan Douglas (12-5 MMA.)

Also tonight you see a light heavyweight tilt between Felipe Franco (8-0 MMA) and Freddy Vidal (3-0 MMA), a lightweight match that Cage Warriors Alumnus Chasen Blair (7-2 MMA, 0-1 DWCS) explores in Samuel Sanches (10-1 MMA) in Blair’s Second Shot Fight in so many years, and a strowegen fight that corresponds to Carol Foro (8-1 MMA at Shanelle Dyer (6-0 MMA).

DWCS 81 Main Event: Steven ASplund def. Anthony guarascio by tko (bumps followed by elbows off the ground and pound) at 0:16 in round 1. Third most beautiful knockout in the history of DWCS. ASplund has granted UFC contract.

Co-Main event: Lerryan Douglas Def. Cam Teague of Ko (left hook) at 0:36 in round 1. Bound for the seventh mercury knock-out in DWCS promotional history. Douglas has granted the UFC contract.

Freddy Vidal Def. Felipe Franco by submission (coded choke) at 4:48 to round 3. Vidal returns during the season finale on October 14.
